@Mola_Ram The trick is to make sure that by the time you hit the point of drawing 5 Anger cards in a single turn, each of them is doing 80 damage or so. :)

Anger with Unceasing Top? That could work well...

Also try not to get too into a habit of taking cards that will become good if you get the right card later on. It's better to just take what you need to survive what's coming up most of the time.

Iím working on some of the achievements. Like having 3 cards in pile/hand/discard combined - so need a lot of exhausting there! Ironclad my best bet I guess.

I know I shouldn't, but I fall for this one every time. The number of high-ascension runs that have wiped out in the middle of Act 1 with a Limit Break or Catalyst sat uselessly in a deck where they do nothing.

Yeah it's a snowball effect as well, because once you know you've got that limit break there you start looking for strength generation, and if it doesn't come up you build yourself into a corner where you didn't pick a bunch of other cards that would have given you a solid deck because you really wanted a certain archetype.

Got the Transient down to 99 health before it faded. Closest Iíve got to beating it outright. Convinced I was going to manage it, until the final round gave me a rotten draw :-(

@Murbs I've killed the transient on the mobile version with a poison build on the Silent. Lucky draws on a very strong deck... some good big poison cards in the first hand, then the two upgraded Catalysts came up on the second, along with Burst. But yeah, you need both the right deck and a lot of luck to get the kill. I've never done it on PC, despite having done A20 on all characters there.

Strength build on Ironcast. Starting with 7 strength due to Du-Vu doll & 6 curses, plus Vajra. Demon Form x2, Limit Break, Upper Cut, Heavy Blade. All upgraded.

Had Snecko Eye from the start, so built around expensive cards rarely costing their true value.

Comfortably won the run (with around 130 health due to Feed+), but gutted about the Transient. Donu fell to my heavy blade hitting for 702 on vulnerable.
