Good afternoon everyone, I hope you're all well? I turn 30 this year and I'm looking to treat myself to a break away.

Ideally I'd like to go to Egypt on a cruise (partly because of Origins, but also because it's somewhere I've always wanted to go), but I'm having trouble finding a website specialising in singles holidays (that isn't for the older generations).

Has anyone had any experience of singles holidays? Any travel operators you'd recommend?

Buy a backpack and use google, you don't need a travel agent.

Not really sure he can backpack on a cruise mate.

Yeah, he said "ideally" and he's 30 years too young.
    Plan B - backpack :)

Isn't Club 18-30 for exactly this? Never been on one and they're not for me, but I understood they were for getting a bunch of single people together so they could vomit over each other.

Hated them personally but my mates at the time loved vomiting on people.

Sounds as if the OP wants some culture as well, 18-30 is purely for liver and skin damage and STD collection.

Egypt is a shit location for a singles holiday. Play a bit of Brotherhood, then go to Rome instead.

    What's wrong with a cruise?
  • Deleted user 5 February 2018 14:31:25
    :)

    In that case there's

    Contiki
    Titan
    Tucan
    Frienship Travel

That's from a quick Google. Only the last one seems to be specifically for single people and says its from age 25.

    And yes, I loathed Egypt.

Jordan is nicer and safer for a single traveler if you want "old stuff". Rome I thought was fantastic.

Is that because it has a roundabout dedicated to the movement of sausages?

I think it's more to do it with its quite hilly landscape, which in no way at all is a result of a surge of dead females being buried.

@GuybrushThreepwood Thanks dude, like you said 18-30s isnít for me. I came across Contiki, but Iíll take a look at the others.

I just wondered if anyone had any experience of those kind of holidays.

Also, if GameCritic is a troll then heís definitely succeeded, he seems to turn up in every thread at the moment.

To those of you who suggested Rome, thatís somewhere Iíd like to go with a partner one day. Iíve been to Italy before and it was all very romantic, which is why itíd be nice to go with someone else.

If you're 30 and travelling alone, why don't you go backpacking in South America or Asia?
You meet loads of people and there are amazing things to see and do, very easy to travel alone like that.

There's a company called Flashpack that seems to do cool holidays for young people that are single. I wouldn't mind doing some of those myself, if I didn't think I was getting charged twice the price it should cost

Any of the companies like Gap Adventures, Exodus etc are great for this. Pick somewhere you want to go and they take care of everything. You'll meet a group out there, mostly singles (or at least lone travellers) and have a great time.
