Great action apparently and now reports of it being a bit like Indy and having horror elements.
    Man what a shot article
    Total horesshot indeed.

you probably meant overseeing but really its probably best if everyone just overlooks DC given how much it sucks

Naa, that's got to be fake, it looks fucking terrible. The suit looks like it's made out of bloody polyester.

He's not a big guy, I imagine it's going to have a lot of padding.

I thought so but then you can see Mark Strong in the picture.

Bulked up a lot apparently so the suit only has minimal padding. I'm guessing WB will release an official poster sooner rather than later

Looks like they’ve pretty much cancelled most of the spin-offs that they announced. Batgirl is having rethink etc. Apparently they want to,focus on their main characters.

Currently got Aquaman, Wonder Woman 2 and Shazam. See if the Joker origin film is going to happen. I suspect it will.

I think their mighty new strategy will involve not announcing films until they start to go into production. Like...wow!

Ah yes. There’s nothing official on MoS2, Cyborg or Green Lantern films as far as I’m aware. The other ones do have directors attached though.

As for the Aquaman screenings and early reactions, I was of the opinion that they were always positive but that’s not always the case.

You’ve just got to look at the transformation of Chris Pratt to see that the Shazam dude can get into shape. Is he ‘big’ enough? No idea.

It's harder to go from skinny to bulky than from overweight to ripped. When you've got excess fat you're in a prime position to build muscle, and the weight reduction makes it appear a much bigger transformation overall.

Not saying he won't be in shape but I think he's going to have trouble being the representation of the character I'd expect. It depends on how long he's been training though.
But then they cast Gal Gadot as WW and she didn't really look like a warrior either, so it won't really matter that much.

Batgirl is/was not a great idea. Who is the audience? A fairly small demographic of comic fans I guess.

Most of the public wouldn't know the comic history, a lot would only know the Alicia Silverstone version.

The redpill types would neg the fuck out of the online "buzz" and there must be a fair bit of Bat fatigue by now for everyone else.

I think Batgirl is the perfect character/movie to break the dark, Snyder style of the recent films. A millennial wannabe superhero trying to find her place among the DC heavyweights. It worked for Spiderman Homecoming.

I'm surprised Aquaman and Cyborg are getting their own films. How popular are they within the comic book fans? I know Green Lantern is really well liked. I assumed they would reboot him after the last shit show.

So basically DC is still rubbish... do we have an ETA on when it might be sort of good?

A Batgirl/Nightwing film would probably work better than a solo film.

I'd be a lot more interested in a Bat-family series of films, standalone and teams, than the wider DC stable, in general.

Interesting choice, might work. If you discount her most prominent work with Paul Feig (which is terrible, due mainly to incompetence of said director), she's actually an incredibly talented and versatile actress.

I wouldn't call Bridesmaids terrible. Or Spy for that matter, although she's not in it.

I feel so sorry for Mr. Affleck in all of this mess.

How long until the poor guy quits? Any guesses?

Affleck can fuck off, the overrated groper.

Wiig is really good in Welcome to Me.

Word is Flash point will be Afflecks last film with Suicide Squad 2 before that.

Karl Urban recently expressed interest in the role.

They can deliver hit films on a budget. Very different genre but they’ve also managed to do universes that hang together.
