Looks like Velogames have been hit with a legal notice of some sort and doesn;t look like they run this years competition :(

Shame, I wonder why? They've been doing it for years, so I would have thought any issue would have been raised by now.

    :(

Maybe Froome didn't like all the vaguely snipey team names? :D

Another good read on the whole Sky / Froome thing: http://sportsscientists.com/2018/07/can-we-trust-the-tour-sky-and-chris-froome-le-monde-op-ed/

    Sorry guys. :-(
It's probably because I got the spelling of Asthmatic wrong.

Looks like velogames may be back soon!

    Sal has obviously apologised.

    😃

Incredible job by Watchfinder to manage to find a rider who liderally looks like they’re riding a bike for the very first time in their Tour sponsorship ads.

Holy shit, drama before they've even made the cobbles.

    Porte out.

    Those cobbles are brutal though.

That's a lot of people sliding out on corners for these dry circumstances.

When I lived and cycled in The Netherlands, I always hated cycling on the cobbles when they were wet.

Yeah, I think I'd be running some seriously low PSIs.

Made up for Degenkolb. Emotional victory for him. Gutted for Richie but guess somewhat expected.

And a superb ride from Nairo. Expected him to lose buckets today.

So with Richie gone, Thomas is next . Hope not!

From 9 flat stages to 3 climbs in one day. That has to smart a little. :-o

So much for GVA losing the jersey on the first mountain stage.

    Holy cow!
Just saw a summary of 'la course', the 1 day women's version of the Tour.

    Nail biting!

It was an incredible finish and looked impossible until the last second.

She said in her post race interview that her sport director who had been shouting encouragements in her ear went quiet with around 500m to go, clearly having given up on the idea that she'd make it.
    She decided to keep pushing.

Not sure how today's TdF stage will play out. The whole Froome/Thomas thing I think could get quite nasty. Well, at least I hope so...

I'd wager Brailsford has been dripping poisoned honey into both their ears.

He is that sort of bastard for sure. I'm really pulling for G though. He deserves something for being such a warrior for Sky over the years.

It's amazing how bad the form is on some of these guys. Stick them on a climb and they suddenly look completely out of their element.

I wonder how we'd compare to the sprinters on getting up hills. Even as a good amateur climber that weighs next to nothing I'm still assuming they'd leave me for dead.
