The names are bloody stupid. Enjoyed the first one quite a bit but couldn't be bothered to get into the 2nd , just didn't grip me at all. Very pretty though.

I actually like the names. There's an old school pulp/adventure novel vibe about them, they're distinct, and it's more inspired than 1, 2, 3 or colons.

I don't think that they're great, but most heinously they completely ruin Steam libraries! Having 'Tomb Raider' in one place and 'Rise of the...' in another is very annoying to me and 'Shadow...' will just make things worse!

This latest news has just reminded me that I still haven't actually played Rise yet. Need to rectify that soon!

The first one was ok but very much a poor mans Uncharted with a shitty plot, voice acting, characters that no one gives a shit about and annoying QTEs.
I didn�t bother with the last one...

I didn't get on with Rise of the Tomb Raider all that well. The best parts were the actual tombs. The hunting was alright, but it's mostly there to appeal to completionists. Then you've got the action film plot that you feel like you're betting dragged though and that sort of thing rarely appeals to me.

Ironically, I quite enjoyed the survival mode in co-op. It didn't feel much like a Tomb Raider game for the most part, but there's room to flesh that out and give it some more depth.

Be nice to see some gameplay. The preview on the front page doesn't sound too promising but I enjoyed the last two, just wish there was more focus on actual tomb raiding.

By game three in a series its always going to be a bit 'more of the same' but if they can tie the linear cinematic story approach of the reboot with the tombs of its sequel then I'd be happy enough to pick it up eventually

Really looking forward to this, loved Rise of Tomb Raider. Not as excited for the jungle setting of this compared to Siberia in the aforementioned, mind.

Love these games although since the reboot I feel they're looking more and more indistinct from each other.

Looks great but can't help thinking I've already played it.

The kind of game I know I'll definitely finish, solid 8/10 stuff. Prefer the moment to be moment gameplay / exploration to Uncharted series but prefer the latter overall just from the insane production values.

I remember quite liking the first of this iteration of reboot back in 2013, but I got bored and didn't finish the last one.

I might go back to it and pick this up in a sale further down the line.

I enjoyed the last two, so will be picking this up. Hopefully, it now has more tomb-like tombs. The last one was an improvement on the first reboot, but still not large/puzzling enough tombs to raid.

Think this will be good, but it looks like more of the same which seeing as the last one didn't set the world on fire could be a challenge for them. Being on PS4 at launch this time is bound to help but it's not really looking any different and the last one was far too bloated and the story was fairly bland. They've over estimated their sales expectations in the past, I hope they are projecting a bit better this time or they may get thrown to the wolves.

Personally I'm not on it day one and I think a number of people may be holding off too, Spider-Man is doing gangbusters so people may have their early sept game locked down. I spose Xbox fans must be a bit hungry at this point though.
