Any suggestions which sites are good nowadays? I like Polygon a lot, but could use a few sites more. I am totally ditching this joint now. 12 years... Maybe it's time to make a change, for myself.
Exactly how much have you been here during those 12 long years considering you’ve made 1.9 posts per fucking month?

I agree, the redesign is odd, the forum being untouched feels like it’s about to be given the boot, etc, etc, but it’s the people that make it good anyway, so, meh.
I rather not post if I don't have something to say. Guess for you quantity goes over quality. Won't miss you and your great posts :D
You monster. He's going to stay awake all night because you've wounded his feelings.

I remember back in the day when a post would be on the front page for maybe three/four minutes if it didn't have a reply.

It's funny, I've been on here so long that I've forgotten a lot more than I remember, I think I'm doomed to dementia in old age.

But, like so many have done before I think I'm out.

Anyone who wants to see my mutterings can find me on Twitter. I'll be deleting my account in a couple of days, apologies for any threads I may break.

Any news on whether craigy will implement these changes?

The amendments Dirtbox made were very nice indeed.

If you're interested, I've created a stylish Dark theme.

    https://userstyles.org/styles/157364/eurogamer-dark-theme

It's still very much a WIP though. It's also aimed at the site itself (I rarely come into the forums), but I've tried to update it to accommodate for the forum pages too.

    Sweet!

Where we at with this anyways, I'm seeing some of the mobile features making an appearance on the desktop version.

seems like craigy messed around with the thread nav bars.

i've been too busy lately to have been able to make a start on merging our two stylesheets, unfortunately.

Nice, you kept the redundant follow button on there too. Great work.

I’ve not been here for a few days, but is the forum this fucked up for everyone else?

It’s completely garbled and the icons etc are all over the place. It looks like what happens when the page gets interrupted half way through loading.

granted the intersection of people who use the follow button and people who might ever use this tampermonkey script when its done is miniscule, but its the thought that counts right?

Right. I would have kept it too if I had any idea how.

I think I will try to integrate this into my forum stuff as a toggle. Shouldn't be too much to modify, and use cookies to remember which has been chosen.

Also my two forum scripts are now one, detecting what url you are on to provide the appropriate styles/javascript

Browsing at work using Edge caused mine to be fucked up when the front page was on portable.

Changing to mobile or desktop sorts it out.

I think craigy is out for revenge for all our portable mode whingeing.

No problem. I’ve marked it open source, so have at it. I will also be trying to update it whenever I find something that’s broken.

Yeah- if you come to the forum having chosen “portable” on the home page then the forum doesn’t use a style sheet craigster...
