Registered 15 years agoI got the Crash one, still need to give it a proper read but looked pretty nice. Zzap has no nostalgia or meaning for me but if are a fan it will likely be good. -

Vic 20 was my first home computer (with a whole 3K RAM expansion that nothing I owned actually used...). I wanted a C64 as the obvious upgrade but too expensive for my parents at the time (I also wanted an MSX for the really good Konami cartridge games as a neighbour had one but in hindsight but probably good that they were unavailable by then) so ended up with my (2nd hand)rubber keyed Spectrum which I was more than happy with in the end.

I shan't troll though so will leave the thread to the C64 fans and my initial note that the Crash annual turned out well so this should be good too (juat not for me) -

Registered 20 years agoBy the time I was done with the 64 I'd acquired a 1541 drive and lots of US stuff via a mate with connections.
Skyfox, Interceptor and Racing Destruction Set were big favourites. Also had a 'freeze' cartridge -Action Replay? - which I used to bugger about with sprites. Swapped out Paperboy for Last Ninja player graphics. Never did get the hang if programming though.
Instant buy from me! -
