I was like - gah, where is the gameplay, and then it turned into gameplay. Very well played.

There was a lot going on, but it also looked absolutely insanely good.

Reading a lot of details from a press event recently(the embargo just ended after the reveal) on the game it sounds like it�s the less arcadey, more hardcore BF I�ve been after for a long time.

It's genuinely difficult not to wish serious actual bodily harm on whomever came up with that 'Hello old friend' back and forth in the trailer.

Skin-crawlingly fucking awful; it's actually sending me to bed angry. Gah!

As a Battlefield player since 2 on the PC, that trailer made we wince. I'm sure it'll be a great game, but holy fuck was that trailer dreadful. What kind of angle were they going for?!

I think it's a very deliberate stance of making an identity for the franchise, having very identifiable classes that you know who they are among all the craziness. I liked it. It's still going to be battlefield, and sometimes I don't think they can win it's either "boring, looks the same, where's the fun?" or "they've ruined it isn't the same, it's going to be shit".

The same could be said about bf1 using chemical weapons as a typical munition load out, whatever you think the act of having a mp fps game about a real life war in which real people died is bad taste regardless.

Some sources reporting it's alternate-world. So the Wolfenstein comparison might be apt.

If so, hope it's more New Order (yay) than New Colossus (boo).

I know right, a female skin for a mp game. Madness. It's like it's a game, we don't need women invading that space, we just want men, nothing but men everywhere. I mean I know that half the population is female but why are they trying to force that fact down our throats. Can't they just accept that some people just can't handle the idea of playing a female avatar in a videogame. I mean that trailer had women everywhere, all you could see was wall to wall women. Never ending. Before you know they'll be putting a black guy in the game...
