| Yeah definitely. It's not a calm easy mp game, you need to know the maps and get in a groove. Otherwise you just get dead, a lot. What's the new map like? |

The new map is rather good actually. Probably has a lot to do with me enjoying my time with it last week. Definitely got into a groove with it, which helped me enjoy it more than before. -

Registered 8 years agoI tried to play it on Wednesday but for some the invite players to squad function was broken. What sensitivity settings do you guys use on console as I'm finding I can't get a good feel, it's either too fast or way too slow. -

First impression are that people camp a lot and that as with BF1, there's no point waiting around for medics because they're all dumb as fuck and simply will not ever revive you. -

Registered 15 years agoDropped in again on the end of my access trial. This is the worst BF game by a mile that I remember. It's like everything that's gone wrong in the series in one neat package. Bad maps, glitches everywhere, poor performance, terrible spawning, absolutely no pacing and spam galore. Get the feeling that nobody really understands how to make the ingredients for BF tick over at DICE any more. -
I really got into over February and March. It's a game you have to stick with to get any enjoyment out of, that's for certain. That said, I think you're right in that it's the least effective BF game in the franchise. Such a waste of a great engine. I'd love to see BF3 or BF4 on this engine. LOADS of vehicles, and maps that complement them. -

Registered 13 years agoSo, BF peeps, have you seen the trailer for BF6 that's out now?
Looks like it's a bit futurey and either a terror group/homefront situation, I couldn't really tell from my quick watch on my phone.
Fingers crossed it's good! 😃 -

It's Division 2 footage. -

Registered 13 years agoWas it? Hahaha the gloves did have that circle thing on them.
More fool me!
There was a brief thing about smoke, building destruction how faces look and some peeps running about which I think *was* BF6 stuff. -

Registered 13 years agoI've heard rumours that a BF3 Remaster is coming. If true, would Dice/EA release that instead of BF6 or the much requested Bad Company 3? Would any of you lot here be happy with a BF3 Remaster? -

Registered 8 years agoI would be balls deep for a Bf3 remaster WITHOUT the whole shooting while prone on your back and WITHOUT the attrition shit. Just that Bf3 sandbox madness that's been missing for a while. -

Registered 6 months agoI've not had any issues with the attrition system - adds a nice dynamic feel to engagements. Honestly, don't think I've run out of ammo once (other than grenades obv.) I'm enjoying BFV a bunch, actually, though I would definitely take a BF3 remaster. I love the modern warfare setting much more than WWII. -

Registered 6 months agoThe usual Battlefield problems persist though - Medics not reviving, Assaults not resupplying ammo, a surfeit of Recons on some maps etc. These are not issues exclusive to BFV and at least DICE have put in ammo/medikit resupply stations this time round. -

Registered 8 years agoThey only had those ammo stations because of the stupid decision to give you less ammo when you spawn. Like a lot of problems with bfv they didn't think it through, it's no surprise that many people have gone back to earlier titles to get their BF fix. -

I don't actually have a strong view. I am enjoying the game though. Give us another BF:BC, DICE, you cowards. -

Registered 17 years agoHaven't played a Battlefield game in well over a year.
Got this, as it's free PS Plus.
Played 2 games, Christ am rusty, and that's an understatement!
Killed 20 x, and a grand total of 2 kills, total.
What's the 'easier' mode to try? I jumped into 2 games, win and hold flags thingy.
Cheers. -

Registered 12 years agoI've not played in quite a while but it was a fairly unforgiving game anyway (due to the high TTK) so don't think any one mode is easier than another.
But your best bet is probably being a medic as they can heal themselves constantly.
Otherwise I would say be patient and keep it to the basics: learn the maps/weapons, stick with a squad and it'll fall into place eventually. -

Cheers, makes sense. -
Just not feeling the love, like I did with BF4 and 1.
Sad face and all that, but, no thanks.
