I had no idea how many home improvement shows there are until I tried to find this one

UK show.
A team of architects help people that want to renovate their houses. But they don't do anything besides blueprints and then they check in once in a while.

Lead guy had a fondness of suggesting everyone make massive windows facing the garden. Highlights of the show are when people ignore his advice and he gets increasingly frustrated with the results. Then there are a bunch of other architects.

In one episode a guy fixed up one of those super narrow houses that rea built in old alleyways.

Possibly “The 100k house: tricks of the trade”, it was on BBC 2 and had a group of architects looking at blueprints in a shed in the woods.
