I have had the scales weigh a number of vegetables and it come up with a price of 1p. I told the sales assistant and he said to just go with it.

I'm in favour of punishment for people who transgress against me, it would be an inconsistency for me to go around transgressing against others and committing petty crime whilst objecting to transgressions against myself.

The cognitive dissonance is pretty interesting, there are the usual suspects on the checklists of justifications in this thread. I'm pretty certain most people dislike the idea of getting ripped off themselves.

But what do I know? In my utopia the power of the state is diminished to the point where I can finally deal with that sub-human slime who keeps dropping bags of dog poo in my garden by simply shooting them on sight.
