I have an issue where if I post in a forum my username is displayed as 'Deleted User' rather than my actual username. If I post a comment in a news article my username is displayed correctly.
This is annoying and is confusing in forum threads. I have emailed Eurogamer but have had no reply. Can anyone help fix this?

I think the forum has basically been cast adrift in the hope it devours itself. Moderators are rare as rockinhorse shit.

So I wouldn't hold your breath. Maybe send craigy a DM, though I'd assume you've tried that.

how come you're allowed to change your username on there but not here ?

You can change it here if you log in through Facebook. If you log in with a username you can't though, probably due to the zany antics that would ensue.

Actually it doesn't look like you can do it for Facebook accounts any more. Antics fully thwarted.

As far as I know my username is not pending. I created my account 4 years ago but have been a serial lurker until recently.

I do not log in using facebook.

I've sent a message to craigy to see if he can help.
