Tempted to get PSVR for this. £250+. Is it worth it? Or should I spend it on a holiday 😆

I've had it download a 5 gig, then a 6 and a half gig, then a hundred mb file (which corrupted several times before I got it to download), and now I'm having to wait for the usual copying bullshit the PS4 does, which takes 20 minutes (for a hundred mb update, ffs).

    Fuck knows what's going on.

I was knackered last night so just went to bed. Should be on this afternoon for an hour or two. Did you manage to have a go last night Stevas?

Think this is probably best played standing, it's a bit tricky with leaning and ducking in a chair.

Think psvr has been selling quite well since the massive price drop

If you've enjoyed any tactical shooters in the past it's absolutely essential if you have psvr imo. It would be a very good game in it own right, with VR and an aim controller it really is something special.

After the shenanigans getting the game installed I did manage to have a quick go at the tutorials and a single player contract. It was about half 12 and I was knackered, but still, I am every bit as shit at this as I thought I would be. Not sure about the Aim yet. Whatever advantage I get from being able to actually aim seems countered by my apparent inability to get my head around moving with the thumbsticks on the thing. I did try swapping them around (as I'm a lefty)... Not sure if that helped yet. I'm developing my own strategy of standing in a corner, Blair witch style, in the hope it'll freak opponents out enough that they'll blow themselves up with a grenade.

I'm pretty good at blowing myself up with a grenade.

Should anyone want to witness the uselessness first (virtual) hand, by all means, go ahead and add me: S_T_E_V_A_S
    You have been warned.

Also, are the only comfort options either smooth/click turning on or off? It seems the smooth turning has those blinders, couldn't see anything to modify that.

I've got the blinders turned off, not sure what option it was though. Have you changed the aim to left handed in the settings?

Also the sticks become second nature very quickly. Although it did take me a little while with farpoint.

Ah, okay, wasn't sure if I was just being special.
Yeah, I switched to lefty already.
Still not sure whether to stick with click or smooth turning yet; didn't seem to make me ill.
Is there a way to expand the map? Also, kinda wish they'd just dropped the pistols.

I think the pace is too slow to cause sickness, I've got everything turned off and haven't had a sniff of it. Pistols are pretty cool for finishing off downed people.

Oh, you can be down but not out? Why then change to the pistol to finish them?

Tried it stood up and sat down but prefer it stood up just like Farpoint. Feels more natural but does make you tired more stood in one place.

Dunno if I've just been unlucky but this seems way less stable since the latest update. I've only been on it for 40 minutes but have had my gun drifting away, spawned under the floor and when it has worked its seemed more laggy.

What did they actually update? Think I was unlucky in that the update literally rolled out when I was initially installing, screwing things up for me.

Do you have to be stood completely still and barely move the aim controller for there to be no drift issues ? If I move the controller a bit too much to the left, right or below me the thing just drifts off and is unusable

Think it was the matchmaking or something. Just had around 10 faultless games there with an Italian and a German guy. Really good. I was the host though which I imagine helped.

@Decks Nice work with the old flanking manoeuvre. I need to get some of this.
