| 72 hours in, level 47, got three of the thingymajiggies but just enjoying traipsing around the world killing cultists at the moment. 2 things I wish I knew starting out that I didn’t realise until about half way in 1) you can burn war supplies with your torch...spent forever trying to find fire to light my arrows..2) you can call the Adriesta from ports...😳 I’d probably be 50 hours in 🤦🤣 |

Registered 14 years agoAlso took me far to long to realise I could summon the Adriesta.
There is also an annoying bug that makes it difficult to summon when you have an animal in tow. (It is possible but the animal must be outside of the docking area).

Registered 12 years agoTbf, the game does tell you can summon the Adrestia the first time you dock it
As for the torch thing, I remembered using it to burn things in Oranges, so just assumed the same would work here. -

Why not swap to your fire arrows instead of trying to light them?

Also you can light your arrows using a dropped torch -

I use poison arrows all the time, pretty much exclusively. I've stacked poison damage on pretty much everything and now putting mastery points into that and CHC -

Registered 9 years agoI tried poison for a good while, with the appropriate set and the daggers that automatically applied it. But as nice as it was to weaken everyone so that it was impossible for them to kill me, it still took ages to actually kill them. Fire was much faster. -

Registered 3 years agoI always forget about fire and poison arrows. I'm not much of an archer in games.
I didn't kill an inner circle Cultist by accident, but I did randomly encounter one of the lower, err, eyes or whatever while just riding down the country. I'm riding past a fort, then I see the "!" detected by enemy prompt. I assumed it was a guard on the fort's walls, but as I'm panning the camera, I see a woman just walking by with the yellow meter over her head, so I pressed triangle to assassinate, and boom, confirm Cultist kill.
Oh. Okay!

2 outer, 2 inner and the ghost remaining.
The fuckers die tonight! I haven't spare one of them, played kass like a proper vengeful misthios

@Red_Bool TBH I had drifted off it but your challenge drew me back in with a goal. This game comes off the list tonight. -

Completed this last night. Pretty sure my ending wasn't a good one but I absolutely didn't play it for that.
I set out to murder all and sundry and that is what happened. -

Yes murder all = bad. Befriend all = best. With shades of grey in between.

Registered 12 months agoI'm getting legit anxiety about not being able to finish this before Valhalla comes out.
Also, AC fatigue, but there are so... many... question marks... -

Registered 3 years agoI'm a huge fan of the series, but AC fatigue is real. Finished my Origins replay the other day and was considering either getting into the DLC or Odyssey, but a few hours into either and I was done.
I've moved onto Watch Dogs 2, as it's just different enough, and also that's one I actually never finished the first time through.
But yeah, I'm holding off on AC until Valhalla, otherwise I'd have no energy for it when it arrives. -

Registered 17 years agoI've waited so long for Odyssey to hit the price I wanted to pay that I've run right into next gen and Valhalla. As long as it's not a total stinker, looks like I'll be missing Odyssey. Which is a shame, because Oranges was one of my fave games of the last few years! -

You know you could still buy Odyssey.... and it would be a lot cheaper than Valhalla (and more patched too). -

Registered 12 years ago@Phattso You could skip Odyssey and go straight to Valhalla, but you'd be missing out on running around ancient Greece looking like this:
