Got through the first 3 relatively unscathed before I had to pick my boy up from nursery. Went the wrong way down a hairpin that cost me shit loads of time on the 3rd though. The Delta is actually great fun to drive.

Iíve applied to your club Sleep, Iím up for some slower cars sometimes too. Variety is a good thing.

With Group B, the Delta is probably my favourite too. I want to like the Audi, but itís a bit too mental for me. The Delta is more manageable.

I erroneously only set up two events in the old man's group but I will do better next time as one needs an odd number in case there is a tie. I am a crap admin 😁

I don't think that matters for the possibility/likelihood of a tie

One other slight fuck up was putting a rain event between pit stops. Makes things pretty tricky.

I did it all a bit quick this morning so apologies for it being a bit hashed together, the next event will be better.

Balls. Was going great until the sixth stage and had what seemed like a minor crash. Burst a tire and, now that Iíve got to the service stop, confirmed that Iíd fucked many things in my car.

Got a minute penalty for the tire change too, but had to change it because I had about four miles to go and I couldnít keep the thing in a straight line.

Iíd take an almost five minute penalty to repair all the damage. Yikes.

Hardcore damage is brutal, my car was barely moving on the last couple of stages, as the engine was fucked. Great fun though. A couple of fairly innocuous bumps and crashes early on nearly destroyed the car, I could only fix the radiator at the break. I though I'd ruined everything when I rolled toward the end of the final stage, luckily i survived.

I'm not sure why I chose the Audi, it's mental. I'd definitely recommend the Delta for this to anyone who's yet to start. Best balance of power vs handling. The Peugeot is my favourite care in the game, even though I can barely control the thing.

Also, I've requested to join Exploding Gekz 2 (Stirkvic, obvs) Cheers!

Noooooo! I hit a small rock on the tenth stage and my car engine blew up and that was that.

I was bloody 30 seconds ahead too. Oh well, it was still fun in a Dark Souls kinda way.

You never know, I could still finish second.

My favourite bit was the horror of seeing all the things that needed to be repaired at the stop. I spent ages deciding what to fix, and ended up with a ten second penalty for going over the 15mins but that didnít even come close to covering it.

Finished, surprised it didnít overheat. I need to go outside and cool down!

It seems this combination suits my cautious driving style 😀

    @Mr_Sleep Cheers!

EDIT: Haha! I absolutely biffed the final stage. I launched off a barrier, sailed through the air into the rock face, and popped a tyre. It was beautiful.

    Thanks.

It was a bit sketchy near the end of the first stint as I chose soft tyres, I thought I missed the service. Was expecting one after 3 stages!

You got through on softs? Well done, they must have been pretty shredded by the 4th.

It was! I did have 2 spins.

What also helped was I changed to auto gearbox as I guessed I would have my hands full with Group B.

It helped a lot as finding reverse if I half spin is easy, I lost lots of time before trying to find reverse with a manual.

Even my mediums had very little grip after four or five stages. Nice driving to somehow get through that in one piece.

I've went with hards. Dying to get back on and finish it but I don't know when I'm going to get the chance. May have to go on half cut tonight.

Do it. I had a couple of beers when I did it and it helped no end.

Fuck me that was tough after a bottle of wine. Fucked up countless times but somehow always managed to get the brakes on quick enough to save the car. Completely fell in love with the S4 by the end of it though. They've just announced they've recorded accurate engine noise for it in the next patch too.

I noticed something strange, I started the 2nd stage with bodywork damage at the front/bonnet even though I finished the 1st one undamaged. The exact same thing happened on stage 7/8, and the pattern of the dents and scratches and cracks was exactly the same. Bug?

I think a lot of luck and your recommendation of the Lancia helped. My usual option is the 6R4 as itís torquey and sounds good. As the Lancia has a s/c then itís torquey too and being a video game donít have to worry about reliability 😀

Good job on the rally choices @Decks really felt like a proper rally 👍

Dunno what to do with the next one. I can split it into 3 mini championships of 3 locations or would people prefer all 9 locations in one go again?
