Hah, yeah, I guess I did fuck it up 😁 Apologies, I did not realise the cars were quite so violent. The whole thing isn't these cars. Only the first event, I think.
No need to apologise, RWD is objectively best. But is there H2 RWD too in this championship? I expected that between H2 FWD and H3 RWD

I think so, yes. I think that may be the next one.

Sweden done. Nowhere near the Docís impressive times, except the last one where I somehow managed to get my best time ever, out of all cars. No idea how I managed that, but Iíll take it.

I had a nasty crash on the last stage, barrel rolling about 10 times. But as you said, there doesn't seem to be much damage whatever happens in Sweden.

Good to hear my theory proved right there then. Just double checked, and my time was faster than I managed in the 2000s when we did it as a time trial. And I did it a bunch of times then with very little improvement.

Giving the old man H3s a go now. I assume your Stratosíing it Doc. I look forward to you beating everyoneís times by a frightening amount in it :D

According to my scientific research of leaderboard statistics, the fastest classes are R5 and Group B 4WD. This is about top leaderboard times, on average R5 is going to do a lot better because you don't die all the time. 2000cc is next in line--and they're close--but they're not quite up there with R5.

    We'll see about that

If anyone's interested... I did a statistic some while ago, it was with the original 6 locations and the original classes (no Group B RWD here). iirc I took the top times of the first long stage of each location.

edit: again, this is top leaderboards times, it says nothing about consistency and ease. It's just the fastest times that had been achieved at that point.

    Isnít Sweden pretty!

I did ok, no accident but nearly hit the ambulance at the left hand corner which always gets me.

Went banzai ( for me ) on the night stage but backed off after that. Those fast 6ís get your attention 😀

Having a cup of tea watching Decks times come in.

I'm fucking rubbish at Sweden, can never find the balance between driving like a pussy and pushing it too hard.

This felt a bit harsh on the 3rd.

I need to express my love for one nasty, but awesome, left five jump over a crest in Elgsjon. Itís scary, but itís a jump that, if done right, skips a fairly sharp turn.

If you balls it up, you go straight into a snow bank. Iíve tried to find a gif of it, but failed.

Yeah but you were able to keep going after that crash. Any other location, and that would have been it for your run.

It's really all about luck. You can barrel roll a hundred times and still go on, but you can also touch an atom of the wayside and your tyre's gone.

Just threw caution to the wind in the last few and ended up in the lake among other misadventures. Think I might struggle this championship, I've barely used the R5 as I find the handling a bit lifeless on them. Not pushing them as hard as I should be.

Oh yeah, on the sixth stage too. You got some really solid time before then as well. Ouch.

Was wondering when you would show up.

https://dirtrally2.com search for EUROGAMERDR2. Sleep has also setup a secondary league for slower cars EXPLODING GEKZ 2.

Slower cars should be in quotation marks mind you. Those H3 RWDs are monsters.

    Applied!

Normal disclaimer - I won't be worrying anyone's times, so don't worry. Just had a quick go with the pad. Good to be back.

Did they sort out the force feedback in the end Decks?

Aye, at one point I was in second place overall then one slow slide and bump later and it was over.

Is it better to stop and change the tyre or carry on? I ended up doing both on that stage so I am not really sure.

Any chance you could screengrab your t300 settings? Feels quite heavy by default.

Had a really great run in NZ, except for one major contact with the dirt-looking roadside granite which instantly killed a tyre. Sigh.

Depends on how close you are to the next service. if there's no service after the stage, repair it right away as it won't be replaced between stages otherwise. If there is a service and you're relatively close to finish, I guess you'll have to decide if it's worth the 1 minute you save, especially considering you're likely to spin out and crash more.
