Yeah, Iíve made it to the third stage but cannot continue. Connection failed and an ertor code longer than there are decimals in pi... It says I will lose my progress if I quit. I guess I wonít be able to start from stage four when the servers are back up if I do?|
Edit: I did quit to the main menu and were able to immediately resume from stage four.

@salrip I think your lucky it was a service stage, not happened to me lately but have had to retry a lot to get it to register.

Is the season pass worth picking up? All four seasons plus colin mcrae for 15 quid. Seems like a bargain?
So because of online being fucked (connection failed and an error code), I get some message about a discrepancy between local and online and my offline championship gets reset?
Yeah. I've tried twice now and both times I got the same bullshit.
I'll just stick with wrc8.
Literally the entire country is at home and the games just been given away for free. You would hope most people would have the sense to be a little understanding for the server issues.

I'm not. You make a game where you have to be online to play the games "campaign" then the game better fucking be online at all times. I wanted to venture in last night, loaded it up and literally couldn't play.
Fuck you codemasters.

Dunno, continue to have a little cry about it then. I'm sure the majority of people will be more understanding.

Yeah offline play should not need a connection to the servers. I get its required for the leaderboard times to compare with the world/friends but not A.I
Hopefully it's something they fix and I don't think Dirt is the only game to have this issue.
I agree that it should be able to play offline. Reminds me of when steam first launched and you had to be online to access and play your games.
Ok on a different topic. Who has the season pass? Kind of tempted by the price.
I was... until I realised it literally wasn't going to save any progress.
Heh, shit happens. Game is still better than any other rally game I played so dont mind a few server wobbles, as long as it doesnt stop me particapating in a 2 day set of stages then I'm fine and it hasnt so far.
Loads of offline races to be done, just not in that main menu option, when stuffs offline I end up doing historic rallies.

I didn't check other options to be honest. Might look into the classic stuff. I just meant: I'm now definitely not throwing money at this. Hell, I nearly just bought the season pass before even firing up the game.
Yep I've not fired it up myself yet. Might try it tonight. I'll hold off on the SP if there's wobbles though.
Don't get me wrong, I liked what I seen. Just a shame they had to tie single player stuff to this racenet shite is all. Looks great otherwise.
Game came out over 6 months ago and even tho not ideal set up of offline races its done the job for many of us, if you feel that way then thats fine.
Play something else until the servers are back up? What do you actually get from endlessly moaning about everything on here. It seems to be literally the aspect aspect of your personality, to moan. What do you get out of it?
@MrAGSystems Get a refund if you bought it, bad timing that's all.
