Sorry for the 2 night stages in this event, I was 100% sure I had only one in there. It's odd because I quadruple checked the events before creating it, no idea how that happened.

I didn't mind the night stages, it is pretty reasonable in Spain due to the railings and stuff. I am so annoyed with my times, I ended up fucking up the 5 tighten to 4 corner where I often end up stuck behind the rails.

I must learn that when old Phil says “cut”, it really is debatable whether I listen.

Yep, there is a 6 cut in Spain that I always over cut. Probably the same one.

Do you guys have a three/four left after a high crest in Germany he never actually says out loud too?
On the whole though the co driver voice feels really varied, this corner just stands out because of how well the rest work.

Yeah, there’s definitely a few corners that aren’t called out, and a few whos numbers I disagree with! It’s not bad considering how many there are in the game I suppose.

There’s also some strange things going on with the audio in a few corners. For example, I think it is in NZ or australia, in my surround sound setup, all of the codriver calls come from the center speaker but in one corner the voice suddenly comes from all speakers. Distracting but nothing to serious.

I also disagree with the number on certain corners, but on the whole I think the co-driver calls is good. It doesn’t feel robotic at all which is good.

@salrip that's been a bug for ages with the Co driver audio, I moved my pc away from the surround system a few months ago so forgot it happens.

@KD congratulations on the win in Spain!

I had alot of fun driving around Australia, lots of crashes and punctures as a result though

Time trial challenge : Spain, Descenso por carretera/dry. The rally gt cars.
    Mudskipp/bmw m2/2:28.305

I've been playing this game loads whilst trying to keep the baby asleep so no worries if no one wants to try time trials too, but it was interesting learning a track vs my normal hectic and corner missing approach in the proper rallies!

Assuming I didn't fuck up the track or car selection.

    Mr_Sleep/Aston Martin Vantage/2:24:802 - First go too :D

2:17.595 in the Vantage. I had a couple of goes in the 911, but I couldn't keep it on the road at speed. Might have a go in the BMW later.

2:17:887 in the 911. Don't know if I can go much faster than that in the 911 without crashing 99/100 tries.

Edit: Had to try the Vantage now - 2:17:112 :)

I got a 2:15:583 in the 911 when I finally completed a run, I got nowhere near in the BMW. 911 seems to be the best choice for this one.

I believe the 911 is fastest in class in most situations, although the M2 seems to take a lot of the cake. Possibly the 911 has an advantage on tarmac, but i haven't really looked into that.

I have to retract my earlier statement about not being able to beat my 911 time. I copied the setup from the gtr technical youtube channel and got 2:14:102 after a few tries. A little bit of cheating copying someone else’s setup maybe though?

I had 2 punctures within a minute on that last stage.

Regarding punctures, I discovered that if you maintain a lower speed, say about 50% throttle you can ease your way through the track with a puncture. Probably not worth it with an early puncture.

Tight at the top of the leader board for Argentina. All within 10 seconds when I finished.

Exciting! Struggling to get my little co driver to sleep properly so time for and early morning run to fill out the bottom of the table

I find it hard to see the road in some places in Argentina. Everything is just a brown blur and all the bumps makes it even harder to focus. On the bumpiest sections I sometimes even get a little motion sickness, which is rare for me.

One can turn down the screen judder in options, it makes Argentina more bareable.

Well done on the win. Feels good to be getting closer to your times.

They’ve added a new fiesta if you record a time in the new event which is going live next week. Aside from that it’s just a few tweaks as far as I can tell.

Doesn't sound like enough for 9 gb but do these game updates download chunks to replace rather than edit existing stuff sometimes?
I might not be on for a week or two as have some stuff to sort through but incase you're all missing my terrible driver updates -
I saw some sortof mouse /stoat thing run across the road in finland - any idea what it's meant to be? (might be unlucky, shortly after hit terminal damage)
Think I've found my level with R2 cars, nice and modern but not so powerful I go flying off at random.

Are you guys going to attempt the time trial competition? Trip to Birmingham up for grabs..!

Might being stupid here, however I use the hood cam on RX. How do I get the rear view mirror on the top of the screen. I'm on ps4? Tried all the settings but only way of looking back is holding R3
