As an old, I'm getting a real 'Kung Fu' Saturday afternoon telly vibe of this which isn't a bad thing. When the mask comes off and a CGI David Carradine is revealed I won't be surprised.

Really like it so far. Love the bounty droid, wish he was sticking around as a key character.

Yea surprisingly good. A little short though at 30mins per episode.

The unofficial name spreading online is Yittle. There's also speculation that the baby is a clone of Yoda rather than naturally born.

The same composer did both Creed films I think.

Nice guess! Or did you notice the Kamino emblem worn by the scientist that wanted Yittle alive?

The brevity if each episode is disappointing.

I'm quite enjoying how pared back and 'simple' this is: it's a bit like a PG-rated Lone Wolf and Cub.

The Ralph McQuarrie-style paintings over the end credits are nice too.

OK, I've just gone from "I can wait till it's available on Netflix" (Yeah I know) to "What was the URL for piratebay now again?"

OMG they've shrunk Yoda! Is it a Lama thing? Is he reborn!?

I'm just in awe of the production values. The sets, props, cgi, music even the quality of the credit sequence are better than you'd see in most blockbuster movies. It's like Disney have just given a blank cheque to the production team with the mandate to make even the most jaded Star Wars fan involuntarily ruin their trousers.

I don't think I've been this excited about a TV series in years.

There are a fair few things I could complain about, chief among them how shit the main character is at his job. "I'll just walk straight up and knock on the door" seems to be his one size fits all strategy.

But, that would be missing the point. Very impressive production. Great pace so far. Mostly wonderful use of the lore exept for the one thing I hate with modern Star Wars

As has been pointed out by many, the universe is shrinking. Why did it have to be Javas in a sandcrawler? Are there only three planets in Star Wars? Was that Hoth in the first episode?

Wouldn't surprise me if the baby is actually Yodas baby rather than a baby Yoda.

In the end though, had I been able to see this in my teens I'd been shitting my pants. It's astonishing to see what TV has become.

Samurai and Babycart popped into my mind, but I couldn't remember the actual name.

The opening scene portrayed him as being a bounty hunter of some skill. Everything since has seen him transform into Buster Keaton. It's a very strange tonal swing between competency and comical.

I think the opening scene showed him being shit at planning. "I'll just waltz right in and see what happens. I don't give a fuck if I announce my presence to my prey. Fuck em. I've got some blaster reflecting plates here and there!"

Then he got lucky and won. It makes for fun action scenes, and I do like them as opposed to the tedious hour long fist fights in Daredevil, but the more I think about it, the more I hope he's supposed to be shit.

    * Casuses a scene when walking into a bar where his prey is
    * Looks through a spyglass and gets his arm chomped.
    * Sees a droid providing an excellent opportunity to sneak around the back... and joins said droid instead.
    * The Egg huh? OK, I'll just walk into this cave! No reason to ask what to expect here!
    * They're stealing my ship. I'll kill a few of them and hope they A) don't have blasters when I'm hanging from the side of their crawler and B) only hit my shoulder pad if they do

It's OK for now, but I can see this becoming tiresome in a few episodes. Unless it's a set up for him running into an old master who teaches him everything he needs to know. Or a funny brainiac sidekick.

Right now he's Leroy Jenkins without a clan.

Watched both eps today either side of dinner, so thatís about the closest Iíve come to binging.....
I thought it was very good indeed, me and mrs chief both thought the soundtrack got a little ďrockyĒ but in the main itís a fabulous score. The production values and creature makeup/effects are right up there and the atmosphere is great. Thereís a touch of dodgy cgi on the creatures in ep 1 and the little one is a bit off at times but itís generally very high quality.
Pedro does a great job with the little he has and the whole western vibe works well. Itís the most exciting new show Iíve seen in years, itís at least as good as I hoped it would be so far, and plays out like one adventure which is a good idea so far.

Bring on Friday, even the missus who couldnít give two shits before watching is hooked.

Really enjoying it too, so far one of my favorite star wars things. Much more interesting that he's not a complete badass (it's not like Boba Fett was flawless either) and is just getting by instead. Last thing I'd want is for him to wade through enemies like some of the jedi do with no sense of peril.

The egg yolk fascinates me. It's like super concentrated custard in colour with the consistency of a weak caramel.

I'm not sure I could personally eat an egg with fluffy dulux dog dredds, though.

Just seen episode 3. Ah, I love it so much.

I like how much Pascal is able to emote so much without ever taking his helmet off. It's so well filmed.

It's absolutely criminal Disney+ hasn't been launched here and without lewd acts we'd have to wait until march to see this. I'd happily pay for access to this show.

This is the best thing on TV since that porno where those women shit into an ice-cream cone & eat it and Noel's House Party.

Holy fucking shit! Itís a good thing this show isnít available at the same time everywhere. The globe couldnít handle that amount of simultaneous SW fan jizz as surely spooged from those watching the end of Episode 3!

My daughter told me I was now spoiling the viewing from my noisy (purely vocal you sick fucks) reactions! Then that last tiny bit of action had her saying ĎThis is the wayí

    Heart so fucking much!!!
