Yeah, episode three was the best yet. Little yoda and Mando are the next rocket and baby groot! |

It's absolutely criminal Disney+ hasn't been launched here and without lewd acts we'd have to wait until march to see this. I'd happily pay for access to this show. -

Do you really thinks so? Its all so telegraphed "I've got enough material to make you some little birds", "ooh, I'm surrounded, what shall I use to get out?"

"It's so very hard to find a Mandalorian" - well, there's loads of us and we all look different but we disguise our numbers by only going out one at a time. Apart from when we don't.
And the fan-boy service lines are annoying (including the iron man one at the end). -

Registered 20 years agoOh but that little green hand reaching up for the dab at the very end!
There’s nothing wrong with fan service. The mental scene with all the Mandaloriand in it also serves multiple story functions. The jet pack may not, but come on, it’s fun and after the preceding scene thoroughly justified.
I’ve got a feeling this show is going to keep putting out targets for the internet to attacks - he sucks at bounty hunting, just walks in the front door - only to subvert the assumption in the following episode. There’s no way that the creatures aren’t highly cognizant of how part of the internet is bound to react. -

That was the only really odd one for me. There's 2 dozen or so Mando's in this little town, it's their little gang hide out or whatever, but it's hard to find them? And the guy is always walking around with his trademark gear, it seems like it'd be pretty easy to track one of them down.

I hope it was a fluke. -

I initially had this thought when I saw the episode lengths, but have totally changed my mind on it. There’s no fat on it, everything zips along really nicely.
The brevity if each episode is disappointing.
If these were an hour each, there’d be lots of unnecessary padding in it of people talking in rooms, just to keep the effects budget down. -

Registered 20 years agoYeah, I’ve changed my mind as well.
Especially as the short length makes it much easier to engage in repeated viewings. -

Registered 10 years agoIt doesn’t feel as short as it is, as dolly points out it’s all rather lean and all the better for it, not sure this one was the best yet but the arc is moving along nicely. This will make a great box set if they let it out that way. What are the chances? -

Probably, pretty much zero. This is the end. They want your sweet monthly streaming payments. Fuck physical, there's a chance you might not buy it. Streaming only means guaranteed revenue.
What are the chances?

Registered 16 years agoWell, I'm up to speed thanks to a mate and a plex server, and I'm blown away.
I love the whole spagetti western feel I get from this. I thin it's part the story, part the soundstrack, and part the way it's been shot.
Such a lovely way to have done this. I've always had a soft spot for Bobba (me and a million other people my age) and always wanted to learn more about their history and lore.
I get a real sense that there are delicate hands taking care of this story, unlike the core films, and to a lesser degree, the spin-off films too. -

Registered 15 years agoSo if blaster shots just reflect off beskar when Mando is wearing it why did the blaster shot knock Carl Weathers on his ass when his beskar was hit?
Makes no sense, Kylo Ren stops blaster shot in mid air, the Force doesn't work this way, worst Star Wars ever...
Nah, it's great...

I enjoy The Mandalorian but I have to say they're leaning a bit too heavy on the "Star Wars is for 12 year old boys" crutch for their suspension of disbelief. Once my kids english is good enough I'll have a great time watching this series.
