The Main theme really is rather special.
All the music is on "the various streaming services". I think it's marvelous, too. I sit through the credits and try to read some of the names just to "hear" "it".

So if blaster shots just reflect off beskar when Mando is wearing it why did the blaster shot knock Carl Weathers on his ass when his beskar was hit?
Because the shots fired at Mando are not as powerful as the shots fired by Mando, and Mando is a lot harder than Carl so can stay on his feet. Not that it really needs justification

Absolutely loving this. The pace, the style, the characters and the music is really grabbing me now too. Some of the sets in the first episode looked a little barren, but overall the production levels are great.

Best Disney Star Wars alongside Rogue One for me.

    @gamingdave:
Carl's bicep weighs more than Mando!
At least it did years ago...

Like I said though, I was just kidding, I love the series so far...

Mando has had his baskar lovingly hammered and tempered by a horned Manda though. That raw slug of baskar won't reflect shit. He'd been better off with a bible.

Any of my pirate activity was done through show box but that's been down at least a month. Anyone know of any other decent android apps I could use? Not paying for any other streaming service outside of Netflix.
TeaTV is one I was told about. I just went down the 'shared Plex' route.

I see Disney is capitalising on the buzz around the Mandalorian and putting their all into the merch in time for Christmas..

Only 4 more episodes to go so I'm assuming there's going to be a season 2 as I can't see them wrapping anything up soon.

I thought it was the weakest episode so far, didn't really add much to the story.

Loved the setting this week. It's the highlight of my weekend at the moment, getting in from work on a Friday and watching it while having dinner.

I did a bit of a double-take when I saw Bryce Dallas Howard's name come up.

Watched episodes 3 and 4 back to back last night. Brilliant stuff.

Ep 4 had a bit of a A Team feel to it - and I mean that in the best possible way :)

Just watched it, didnít help it was all at dark and a pikey stream but didnít really get much from that episode. I said to my wife it was like an ep of ďa teamĒ or something but it didnít really fit for me.
It felt really slow as well which is something Iíve not got from the show so far.

It was okay. I liked seeing the AT-ST. The rest was fairly filler-y.

@brokenkey interesting. I thought it was the worst episode so far by a long way.

I enjoyed it, though they really shouldn't push the "there nothing on this planet that can damage its legs" bit with a veteran from Endor present...

"Do you have trees on this planet?"
    "Uhhh, sure"
    "That's that sorted then"

It's wierd but the drum beat intro gets me all fired up for watching this. I love it!

Ep4 was too cheesy for me, used the most Western cliches so far for what is basically a space Western, it lacks the character building and scripting of the similarly themed Firefly though. Needs to pick up if I am going to stick with it.

Happy to see Gina Carano though, not the greatest actor but she has come a long way from her performance in Haywire, though it was good movie despite her.

I enjoy seeing how much bullshit fanservice they can cram into every episode.

I was hoping they'd expand the universe some, but nope, it's a beat for beat whistlestop tour of everything you know and love about good old star wars!

    Fucking shit.
