How do PS+ Gift Cards work? How to avail them?

I live in Germany and there is a load of red tape when it comes to backing, especially for foreigners like me. This means that I can't connect my bank account to my PSN account. I have however found a shop that seeks PS+ cards but I'm not quite sure how to use them.

Is it like a gift card where I just put in the number and my account gets credited? If so, can I use that so that I can pay online as well as play games?

    Thanks in advance.

It's exactly that. Gives you a code, you input that in the Redeem Code option in the PS Store (not sure of German language equivalent) and it'll credit you.

Alternatively, you should be able to link a Paypal account - though I have no idea to German specific laws/rules on banking.

@alexbach I think the good man meant linking your PayPal would be an alternative funding source as you say you're having difficulties with linking your bank account.

    https://www.pcgamesupply.com
    https://www.cdkeys.com

These are good legitimate sites to obtain psn funds. Just ensure you select the correct region when you purchase psn digital codes.

@pacrifice But that's the problem here. I don't have enough funds to purchase a new PSN Card. However, I want them so badly.

Ask your mum. If she refuses, go to your dad and say she said it was ok. Before they figure it all out, you'll have played a bit.

But how does he touch? No. He does not. Why is butter? No. Butter is not.
