Hi Guys need some help not sure if this is in the correct place.

I have just brought the†Razer Kraken Tournament Edition headset for my Xbox One.

I am having trouble fully connecting it all up this is my first ever Razer Headset so I'm a bit confused to why its not working properly.†

What i have done so far is unpacked the headset from the box from new and plugged the usb end into the front of the Xbox One usb port and then plugged the 3.5 jack into the audio control box but I have no sound coming from Xbox One to headset. So what i done next was i unplugged the 3.5 jack from the audio control box and put it staight into my Xbox controller and it worked but I am not able to use the audio control box that also came with the headset.†

My question is how do i fully setup the†Razer Kraken Tournament Edition for my Xbox One so that I can also use the full features of the audio control and not just the headset plugged into the controller.

A step by step would be most appreciated.

I would, of course, recommend contacting user pHage in this instance.

Hi, did you ever solve this? The description for Kraken Tournament Edition headphones claim they work with xbox one x but like you, I get nothing via USB (front of xbox) and we only got audio but no mic using the 3.5mm to the controller. It's sad they can't make these just work - I'm hoping there's a simple setting we are missing. Looking forward to a full community friendly reply and not a link to instructions like the ones in this forum that do not work. We chose these headphones to use with pc too. Initially we want Fortnite to work.

If it weren't fairly negative I'd say it was a bot marketing campaign.

Nah, this thread is, incredibly like the third or fourth hit on google for that headset + Xbox One.

As far as I can tell, no USB Razer headset will work with an Xbox. PS4, Ps5; yes. Just plug it in and it will start working immediately. Xboxen; big nope.

MS decided to make using headsets with xboxes as complicated as humanly possible, for some reason. Like worse than nintendo bad.

I guess to encourage you to buy their proprietary headset.
