I've recently been given a Switch & games/Eshop credit.. and have been busy buying and playing since, & think I've amassed a pretty decent library so far but am a bit skint now so am wondering if folk can recommend some stuff that's fun, takes a long while to complete, has replay value & is most importantly (relatively) CHEAP!

    My Library so far:

    Super Mario Odyssey
    Mark Of The Ninja Remastered
    Lumines Remastered
    Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle
    Okami HD
    Fast RMX
    Enter The Gungeon
    Darkest Dungeon
    Mulaka
    Resident Evil Revelations
    LOZ Breath Of The Wild
    Rayman Legends
    Splasher
    Semblance
    Bastion
    Hollow Knight
    Dead Cells
    Galak - Z
    Stardew Vallew

Been considering Golf Story & 99Vidas.. recommend?

That lot should last you months. Finish some games before buying more.

Steamworld Dig 2, Wonder Boy: The Dragon's Trap, Blaster Master, RIVE and Graceful Explosion Machine are all worth a look. Not sure you'd appreciate them with that much on your plate already, though!

    The new Metroid Prime game.
It should be out by the time you've finished that stack!

If you like strategy, you may enjoy Into the Breach. A lot of replay value, and it shouldn't be too expensive. (You can finish it very quickly, but that's where the replay value comes in.)

Golf Story is pretty good, particularly if you like amusing dialogue. The actual gameplay is surprisingly fun too, considering that I don't even like golf.

Yeah, Into the Breach is brilliant. Basically a perfect strategy game in my book.

If you're skint and you have a ton of games, maybe just play those for now?
There's plenty there to keep you busy/entertained.

    Impressive line up!

As discussed above into the Breach is very good. Also look out for Celeste if it ever goes on sale.

Other Indie titles worth keeping an eye out for are: West of Loathing, Undertale, Minit (currently on sale), Oxenfree, Yoku's Island Express, Picross S2, Gorogoa, Sonic Mania and Portal: Bridge Constructor.

I have also really enjoyed Octopath Traveller.

Maybe I misread the list but I don't see Mario kart on there , tut tut .

Also , maybe take a look at skyrim and doom if those things tickle your fancy .
Bad north is also worth a look , though last I read it had a few bugs .

(forgot to add , look at the south Africa store for prices , more often than not it's much cheaper)

Thanks that's already been been brought to my attention but yeah quite often you can save quite a few quid particularly if you're buying a few at once..

I'm still confused as to why OP isn't satisfied with the list above, if they're skint.

Play the games you've got. When you've finished them, the games recommended above will be cheaper most likely.

Diablo 3 and xenoblade are both time sinks if that's what you're looking for and would be a better bet than a half dozen cheaper games.

You have Breath of the Wild in your list there. That's well over the hundred hours mark. Play that :p
