Rogueywon wrote:But unlike earlier gen's, most AAA blockbusters and indies alike are now available on PC so why bother tying yourself to a console (Nintendo aside but then personally I'm not big into their games). RDR2 is the only current game I feel I'm missing out on right now, and it'll end up on PC eventually just like GTA5 did. |
What must a new console release game-wise for you to be content with it? • Page 2

Registered 10 years agoI'm generally not fussed about RPGs and more complex games on a new console. Give me simple arcadey games that showcase the new graphics and give you something fun to play with mates like racers, fighting games, perhaps a FPS or third person action game.
I loved the PS2 launch window. I got SSX, Tekken Tag Tournament and Timesplitters and they kept me going for months. -
Play all disc and digital ps1/2/3/4/psp/ps vita in 1080p/60fps.

Registered 9 years agoWould love a big JRPG but unsure how likely that would be. Only got two consoles on launch, namely PS4 and Switch and having Zelda as a launch title was fucking unreal. Not sure if it qualifies as a JRPG, I suspect not but either way something huge like that would always be welcome.
PS4 launch in retrospect was a bit poo with titles, still gone on to be one of the best consoles I have ever owned though to be fair. -
