    1. Sky Force Anniversary 8/1
    2. Another World Remastered 31/1
    3. Subnautica 4/2
    4. Picross 2 10/2
    5. Iconoclasts 23/2

I know a lot of people really love this game but honestly I just found it OK. Some really decent boss battles (some absolute shockers too), along with really nice art and music didn't do enough to redeem the utterly dreadful/bizarre writing; Spacemonkey levels of unintelligible garbage at times. It's a shame as somewhere buried in it I think there's a decent story. 6/10

#1 Shadow of the Tomb Raider: 7
#2 Battletech: Flashpoint (Career Mode): 9.5
    #3 Warhammer 40K: Mechanicus: 9
    #4 Two Point Hospital: 8
    #5 Battlefleet Gothic Armada 2: 9
    #6 Super Robot Wars V (NG+): 9

Think I'm done with that now (got through the last mission this afternoon). NG+ a very, very different game to a normal playthrough. Missions change, difficulty is increased and new objectives are added. Got the platinum trophy by the skin of my teeth.

Super Robot Wars T is out next month. Not massively taken with the franchise list for that one (no Cross Ange!) but probably going to get it anyway. It's either that or NG+ in X.

    #1 06/01 Human Fall Flat - PC
    #2 11/01 Q.U.B.E. 2 - PC
    #3 20/01 Sundered: Eldritch Edition - PC
    #4 24/01 The Darkside Detective - PC
    #5 03/02 Observer - PC
    #6 10/02 Red Dead Redemption 2 - PS4
    #7 10/02 Bleed 2 - PC
    #8 13/02 Deadpool - PS4
    #9 15/02 Forza Horizon 4 - Xbox One
    #10 22/02 Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle - Switch
    #11 26/02 MotoGP 15 - PS4

I bought this in a sale at some point, can't remember. I played through a season in each class for the career but left it alone for ages. Just won the top tier championship with a few races left. That's as done as it needs to be for me. It was an ok game, just didn't hold my interest. Nothing compares to MotoGP URT on the original Xbox.

    #10 Hitman 2 20/02 8/10
    #11 Hitman GO 27/02 8/10 (Platinum)

Was browsing through my backlog instead of making a purchase and voiding the phattso thread and I spotted Hitman Go. Tons of fun, the puzzles are really great. Kept me coming back to try the alternate ways of doing things. Platinum was the icing on the cake.

Has anyone tried any of the other Go games like Deus Ex or Tomb Raider.
    Are they worth a go?

    #1 - 02/01 - Spyro 3: Year of the Dragon (PS4) Platinum
    #2 - 04/01 - Far Cry 5 (PS4)
    #3 - 05/01 - Blackwood Crossing (PS4) Platinum
    #4 - 05/01 - Persona 3: Dancing in Moonlight (PS4) Platinum
    #5 - 06/01 - Persona 5: Dancing in Starlight (PS4) Platinum
    #6 - 10/01 - Astro Bot: Rescue Mission (PSVR)
    #7 - 05/02 - Tales of Vesperia (PS4)
    #8 - 09/02 - Wandersong (PS4)
    #9 - 02/03 - Gravity Rush 2 (PS4)

That took bloody ages! A great game, very similar to the first but about double the size and unfortunately massively outstayed it's welcome. Glad I played it though as when it's on song, there are fewer better games for me.

Downloaded Trials Rising, a game I will never complete due to being shit, but think I'm going to play Secret of Mana. Supposed to be one of the best games ever so feel like I should!

    #12 Anthem 02/03 5/10
    #13 Pyre 03/03 10/10

The best basketball/rpg game I have played. Great story, characters and choices that matter. Went through the full gamut of emotions playing this. Definitely worth your time.

    #14 Dragons Dogma 03/03 8/10

Felt like playing something a bit more hack and slash after Pyre and booted up Dragons Dogma. I was pretty close to the end, just had to collect a load of rare items and after that the game just ended. How about that?

    What an ending though!

    1. God of War (PS4) (2/1/19) (9/10)
    2: Dead Rising 3 (PC) (3/2/19) (8/10)
    2.1 Dead Rising 3 Untold Stories 1 (3/2/19) (7.5/10)
    2.2 Dead Rising 3 Untold Stories 2 (17/2/19) (7/10)
    3.1 Overcooked 2 CNY DLC (5/2/19) (8/10)
    4.1 Walking Dead Final Season Ep 3 (PS4) (6/2/19) (8/10)
    5. Anthem (PC) (3/3/19) (8/10)

I played this mostly solo (set to private with the odd stronghold and a plot necessary freeplay jaunt in multiplayer). I didn't expect a lot from this but enjoyed it. It controls well and looks very pretty on PC. The world was interesting and I enjoyed the little substories throughout). I have reached credits and despite there being postgame it is getting marked finished now). 35 hours played...

    #9 15/02 Forza Horizon 4 - Xbox One
    #10 22/02 Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle - Switch
    #11 26/02 MotoGP 15 - PS4
#12 03/03 Far Cry Primal - Xbox One

All main story missions finished as far as I know but only around 50% complete. I just can't be arsed anymore though. Typically for a Ubi game someone puked a load of icons all over the map. I finished the story because I paid for it and I resented having it on my hard drive being unfinished. I sometimes had fun with it but it was mostly quite boring.

#12 03/03 Far Cry Primal - Xbox One
    #13 04/03 Dizzy - C64 (VICE)

Starting with the third game in the series and working backwards I managed to finish Fantasy World Dizzy and Treasure Island Dizzy on the C64 as a kid, I found the first game too hard due to the random monster/hazard movements and timings so never finished it. Today, thanks to emulation and the ability to save progress that was lacking on the original machine I've just finished the original game. 13 year old me would be pleased but I'm somewhat let down by the experience.

Also, 13 year old me would argue that the C64 is better than the Spectrum and Amstrad but I can now freely admit that this game plays better on emulations of both machines. The spiders move faster on the C64 and the timed jumps/moving floor sections are a bastard on C64 in comparison to the other versions.

@Humperfunk Yeah man. I really hope Hades comes to console. Love Supergiant studios. Did you show mercy to anyone during the campaign in Pyre.

I had to show mercy to the Fates. When the dog saved his adopted son I proper welled up.

    Anyhoo.

    #1 Marvel's Spiderman. 01/01/ 9/10 (Platinum)

    #11 Hitman GO 27/02 8/10 (Platinum)
    #12 Anthem 02/03 5/10
    #13 Pyre 03/03 10/10
    #14 Dragons Dogma 04/03 8/10

Pretty enjoyable hack and slash game with the best NPC system. I had a laugh flinging Quadfather's pawn Uncle Vyrt from a cliff and being terrified of Fussyduck's Uncle Krieger.
The story is standard enough fantasy fare until the final act where it goes full on batpoop bananas. The gameplay is great and the character options are fun.

    #15 Hellblade 05/03 6/10

While it looks stunning and.deals with a really interesting subject the gameplay was pretty boring and some of the fights felt cheap.

    #1 God of War HD
    #2 Gears of War 2
    #3 Yoku's Island Express
    #4 Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice [100%] - 8/10
    #5 Wolfenstein: The Old Blood - 6/10
    #6 Wolfenstein: The New Order [100%] - 9/10
    #7 Gears of War 3 - 8/10

#8 God of War 2 HD
I really enjoyed the sequel, I think it was an improvement across the board in terms of design and mechanics. Shame the story feels like a stepping stone to the next one. At least I can get straight on number 3. - 8/10

#9 Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus
Man, there are some moments in this campaign. Not sure how I feel about the ending, or the general difficulty spike in the last few levels, but overall I thought this game was a blast. 8/10

#10 The Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit
Completely perfunctory day-in-the-life chunk of an adventure game. I wouldn't mind seeing the themes of abuse explored in more than a fly by. Maybe Life Is Strange 2 can add some context to this I'm missing. - 5/10

It's time I updated my list!

    02. Tumbleseed - This game is pretty damn hard, but as long as you recognise that, it's good fun. It reminds me of the early 90s in which you'd always have a few games you had to chip away at in short bursts, just to get good at, before taking on the mammoth task of beating it. I know the game is considered a success, sales-wise, but little more than 100 people have ever made it to the summit. That's how tough it is.

    03. Tetris 99 - This game is incredibly addictive. Once I boot it up, I know I could be playing for hours. Having notched up 10 wins now, I'm happy to consider it 'complete'. I'll still be coming back for more, though.

    04. Toy Stunt Bike: Tiptop's Trials - This was gifted to me by a very kind forumite last week and I ended up storming through the game in a single sitting (with the other half). It's certainly a lot less stressful that the Trials series. It also has a lot of impressive 3D models, too. Makes me want to dig out 3DS Max again.

    So my list is currently...

    01. Katamari Damacy (Switch)
    02. Tumbleseed (Switch)
    03 Tetris 99 (Switch)
    04. Toy Stunt Bike: Tiptop's Trials (Switch)

If I can bring myself to complete the final 3 chapters of Octopath, that'll be game number 5 on the list. The more I put it off, the more it feels like a chore. I've also got Trials Rising distracting me. I reckon I've clocked 15 - 20 hours since that came out!

Ahh man, I know I've loads of things left to do but I wish I had more of Arthur Morgan and the lads and lassies of RDR2 to experience. While the gunplay, the travel and general gameplay are just fine the story, world and soundtrack and general fuckaboutery that you can do in this game is superb. Genuinely moving story, funny and poignant and makes me wish for an expansion of the original RDR in this engine if only to have my heart broken again when another charismatic leading man dies. Probably took me the longest of the games on this list to complete (four months) but it's one that I will no doubt replay a little further down the line.

I wouldn't worry too much about big RPGs - last year I played Xenoblade Chronicles 2, Octopath Traveler, Ni No Kuni II, etc and still managed to make 52 games. :)

As for DLC - it's entirely up to you how you'd like to count things. Last year, I personally counted individual Elder Scrolls Online "regions" (Summerset, Morrowind, Clockwork City, etc) as different games since they took 15-30 hours each to complete for me. The OP's FAQs also says you can count individual episodes each as a game if you'd prefer. The goal here is to help motivate each other to play (and finish!) our games not to try and hold court on whether or not someone should be able to count something or not. If it counts to you, it counts. FileHippo

Horrendously overrated game. Fun in places, torture in others. The cutscenes are painful to sit through although entirely optional. I played through on normal. I'm crap at it. It took ages to get through.

While I still would say that DmC3 is the best in the series this game is no slouch. Looks great, has tons of fan service for people who've played through the old games and some sections of the game feature some old familiar faces from the earlier games. While I played on Devil Hunter mode and had no real trouble the game definitely has a difficulty hike a little after chapter 15 ( though I was pissed playing it at that stage )

If you like action games like Bayonetta or even the earlier DmC games its a no brainer. I enjoyed the story though the over sexualization of the female characters was a bit much. I'll probably give it a bash again on SoS mode.
