    1. God of War (PS4) (2/1/19) (9/10)
    2: Dead Rising 3 (PC) (3/2/19) (8/10)
    2.1 Dead Rising 3 Untold Stories 1 (3/2/19) (7.5/10)
    2.2 Dead Rising 3 Untold Stories 2 (17/2/19) (7/10)
    3.1 Overcooked 2 CNY DLC (5/2/19) (8/10)
    4.1 Walking Dead Final Season Ep 3 (PS4) (6/2/19) (8/10)
    5. Anthem (PC) (3/3/19) (8/10)
    6. Gears of War 4 (PC) (13/3/19) (8.5/10)

Started and finished GoW4 over a few nights and really enjoyed it. Didn't do anything drastically new but was fun. Played campaign solo on Hardcore and other than a few too many bullet spongey bosses it was enjoyable. Surprisingly colourful for a Gears game too. I will have to go back and actually finish the first 3 at some point ;) (not sure if I own Judgement or not...). Got this on my game pass trial so 2 quid for 2 months so great value. Maybe finish Recore or Crackdown 3 next. Halo Wars is another option... Several games behind schedule still...

    @One_Vurfed_Gwrx

You do indeed need to go back mate. The original trilogy still hold up amazingly well especially Gears 3. They are all co-op in the case of 3 and J four player. :)

Re schedule, I'm still on 2 games completed! I have "abandoned" 2 games as well though.
Crackdown 3. 2 bosses to go but bored by it.
Hellblade SS. Near the end, no desire to complete.

Well, I managed to get GoW one set up to run on PC now so will play the original 'gfwl' version as not paying for the Ultimate Win 10 one, then go through 2 and 3 (and I have the single player DLC for 3 too IIRC) on 360... Co-op isn't going to be happening though, purely solo play here ;)

I have Crackdown 3 on my play through quickly list. I managed Hellblade though last year and enjoyed most of it.

    #1 - 02/01 - Spyro 3: Year of the Dragon (PS4) Platinum
    #2 - 04/01 - Far Cry 5 (PS4)
    #3 - 05/01 - Blackwood Crossing (PS4) Platinum
    #4 - 05/01 - Persona 3: Dancing in Moonlight (PS4) Platinum
    #5 - 06/01 - Persona 5: Dancing in Starlight (PS4) Platinum
    #6 - 10/01 - Astro Bot: Rescue Mission (PSVR)
    #7 - 05/02 - Tales of Vesperia (PS4)
    #8 - 09/02 - Wandersong (PS4)
    #9 - 02/03 - Gravity Rush 2 (PS4)
    #10 - 14/03 - Secret of Mana (PS4)

Another off the backlog. Quite enjoyable but also boring and frustrating in parts, but glad I played it considering its rated as a classic.

Waiting for Phoenix Wright on April 9th so think some shorter games in the mean time again. Final Walking Dead episode is out in two weeks so think I'll rattle through the last two and then go back to Hitman 2 if I have time before that, bosh!

Secret of Mana was one of my favourite SNES games, I think I completed it a few times in the 90s. I'd like to play it again but I think I'd rather play the SNES version than the remake.

    1: Aliens:C Marines (360) 4/10. Beat on 11/01/19
    2: Lego LotR (360) 8/10. Beat on 12/01/19

    3: Virginia (xb1) 2/10. Beat on 17/03/19

First completed game in over 2months, actually only took a little over 2 hours from start to finish. Thought it was pretty awful, the 2 points are for the soundtrack.

    Overdue update.

    #01 05/01: Red Dead Redemption 2 (XO) - 10/10
    #02 10/01: Hitman 2016 (XO) - 8/10
    #03 20/01: Gorogoa (iOS) - 9/10
    #04 21/02: SoulCalibur VI (XO) - 7/10

    #05 02/03: Life is Strange 2 Episode 2 (PS4) - 5/10
They've really lost the plot with this one. I have no hope for the rest of the series.

    #06 10/03: FIFA 19 (PS4) - 8/10
The Journey continues to be weird but strangely compelling.

    #07 15/03: Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice (XO) - 8/10
I feel bad only giving this an 8, it's a true must-play, but the combat is too often infuriating.

    #08 17/03: Crackdown 3 (XO) - 8/10
Sure, it's basically just the first game but with a bit more to do and a bit prettier, but it's ten hours of fun jumping around and blowing shit up, and it turns out that's all I actually wanted from it.

I never owned a NES so missed out on this the first time around. I doubt I'd ever have completed it without the save options on offer through emulation. I quite enjoyed it although there were a couple of infuriating sections.

A surprise for me as my first impressions weren't great fir the starting section but after going back to it for another try it was pretty compulsive. Driving is crap but who needs vehicles... Finished campaign having done all villain objectives bar a couple of radio towers. Story was simple but worked with OTT voiceovers etc, it controlled well and was pretty decent 3D platforming. I didn't get all the orbs but my Game Pass has an expiration date so... Now to either finish Recore (which isn't really calling me), speedrun through Forza Horizon 4 campaign or do the Halo Wars games...

Quite liked how a bloody merc interrupted the last boss fight and how I couldn't bollock up poor old Phobos the immortal teleporting horse by taking shortcuts from cliffs unlike RDR2.

Felt the assassination skill tree was a bit useless or that I invested in it badly as I could rarely stealth bases without a load of guards suddenly becoming alerted. Seems to focus on a more combat approach which is o.k as the combat is pretty good for an AC game. Quite liked 300ing people of any perilous ledge whenever I could.

Lots of character variety from all the greek lads and ladies of myth and contemporary culture and a bunch of weird mercenaries with immensely intense tracking skills. Didn't like near the end where they'd almost teleport to where you were causing trouble.

I'll probably dip back into this at some point but for now I feel that I've got my moneys worth from this.

@DUFFMAN5 Ha, I've been working in a new job that gives me a lot more free time but sadly not enough money/quality of life benefits so I've been absolutely caning the PS4 most days.

I'll be moving to another job in another country after April so my gaming time will take a nosedive after that.

I've yet to find the ring to my Gollum, or the Gears to my Duff as it were. ;)

I've never read the books and only seen one episode of the TV programme because I was going to Dubrovnik and my girlfriend wanted to see if I'd spot any of the locations from the show when I was there. I had a vague idea of who some of the key characters are because it seems it's impossible to avoid reading or hearing about it regardless of whether you want to or not. I was told it wasn't necessary to follow the series in order to enjoy the game. I'm glad to say this much is true. Well, for the most part, the bugs did their best to ruin things.

The 'there is no right choice' aspect of The Walking Dead, wasn't as immediately obvious in the first two chapters. I liked the political aspect of it. Not much else to say really, a bit surprised by the way things panned out in the end. Some horrible bugs forced reloads, my PS4 telling me my controller had been disconnected happened a few times, the buttons didn't respond for dialogue options, the analogue sticks went a bit screwy and the sound messed up often in the last chapters. Several of the characters grew on me, I tried to keep their integrity throughout but I transitioned from trying to avoid unnecessary bloodshed to being pretty ruthless. Whilst I don't rate the game as highly as the first two series of TWD, it did force some tough choices and despite my lack of interest in the source material I wanted to play it through to the end. That said, I didn't really get on with the Walking Dead TV series either.

@Doomspoon Oddly I don't remember too many bugs when I played GoT on PS4 a few years back (unlike Batman which had locks and graphical glitches). Reminds me I need to download last Walking Dead ep as my next game though ;)

@One_Vurfed_Gwrx It only really played up in the later episodes. There were several broken aspects that passed through QA for sure, typos in the subtitles, coding tags visible in the dialogue options and end credits for example. I had several instances of the game taking ages to load the next chapter and looping the sound effect samples, then when it did load the frame rate dropped. Other times characters were dropped in at the end of a scene for the camera pulling away that should have been visible from the off, ie I chose Duncan early in the game and later elected to take him to a certain meeting, as that scene played out the camera pulled away to show a gate with the party present, Duncan was dropped in right in the last second. Don't get me wrong, he'd been present where needed for dialogue but the change of camera angle and redrawing everything meant he was left behind for that 5 second cinematic. It's a minor thing but sloppy.

The losing face button responses and turning my controller off? That's worse than just being a bit sloppy. I hesitate to blame my controller as the charge was high and it works fine with everything else I play.

I think I've had minor instances of the graphical glitches and slowdown or lock ups on the other Telltale games I've played on all platforms (TWD S1&2. BttF Ep1, Sam & Max) so I think there's something about the engine not being as stable as it could be. I have Batman lined up next so will consider what you're saying as a fair warning.

@Doomspoon It is possible I just forgot the smaller glitches in light of Batman's afterwards. I did enjoy season 1 of Batman though despite the glitches (not played season 2) TWD Final Season has been scarily bug free.

    And:

    1. God of War (PS4) (2/1/19) (9/10)
    2: Dead Rising 3 (PC) (3/2/19) (8/10)
    2.1 Dead Rising 3 Untold Stories 1 (3/2/19) (7.5/10)
    2.2 Dead Rising 3 Untold Stories 2 (17/2/19) (7/10)
    3.1 Overcooked 2 CNY DLC (5/2/19) (8/10)
    4.1 Walking Dead Final Season Ep 3 (PS4) (6/2/19) (8/10)
    4.2 Episode 4 (28/3/19) (8/10)
    Overall season - 8/10
    5. Anthem (PC) (3/3/19) (8/10)
    6. Gears of War 4 (PC) (13/3/19) (8.5/10)
    7. Crackdown 3 (PC) (24/3/19) (8.5/10)

Polished off the final episode of Walking Dead Final Season last night. Was a bit action heavy and not too sure how choices really mattered but enjoyed it and though it a decent enough send off for the series. Ran glitch free.

Currently playing Halo Wars 2 on Game Pass (as Halo Wars 1 won't get past the press any button to start screenso gave up on that).

Yes, I played it again. I bought it on Switch because I wanted to play the DLC and it was cheaper to buy it that way, but I ended up replaying the whole thing. Madness!

Absolutely brilliant visual novel, loved it. Superb characters and a well told story.

Phoenix Wright out next Tuesday so rest of this week will be making no progress on Sekiro and might put some proper hours into the PS4 version of Trails of Cold Steel.

@Humperfunk Nice to see people enjoying 428 ;). Was my GOTY last year.

Quick question, Cold Steel PS4, any day one patches or complete on disc? (If you got it physically)

I need to race through my Game-pass stuff over next few weeks as it goes to full price after that so will be cancelling...
