Finished the main story with about 117 strawberries and found most of the B side tapes (only braved one of them so far!). Credits rolled but I'm going to keep trying the extra stuff until the challenge becomes too frustrating.

No question that will be a contender for Game of the Year for me, absolutely incredible from start to finish. Yet another 50+ hour epic completed this year.

Now I think its Yakuza Kiwami 2, hopefully can finish before Trails of Cold Steel II in three weeks or so...

Solid enough mini-sequel to Far Cry 5. Shame about the overly-aggressive attempts to push microtransactions, but otherwise very enjoyable.

Er, not a lot that can be said really. I like the genre. I was playing it as I listened to audiobooks as I have a backlog there to clear too. I've largely been playing Skyrim on PC over the last month but was out of the country away from my PC and consoles for around ten days so have fallen a bit behind in my planned progress.

I have a week of flat and cat sitting ahead of me, I'll be taking the Switch so might get the Hyrule Warriors story completed. I could even try for all cups in Mario Kart. I'll see what happens.

    10: Forza H4 (xb1) 10/10. "Beat" 28/05/19

Well a very busy couple of days with completions. In fairness AC and WD have each had over 50 hours each spent on them and there are bits to do, but for the purpose of the thread I am done and have Watched the credits roll on both of them.

I had completed both, albeit on different consoles upon releaae, but loved and do still love them. Really enjoyed. Looking forward to WD3 greatly.

As for Forza I have participated in all modes and races, seen all seasons, collected 12 barn finds (3 still to find) played on line etc. As brilliant as the previous entries. Then only negative is the very limited soundtracks and radio. Should have an 80's and talking one. I listen to the Classical station mainly (like previous games) and the lack of compositions is almost unbelievable...I mean they have a good few years to choose from!

Onward and upward, started Recore today via Gamepass.

    #23 Tetris 99 9/10 02/06

Not sure if it counts as completion but I've put around 20 hours into this and came in the top 5. Tetris was the first game I owned on the gameboy back in the 90's so its great to see it hasn't been changed that much, well aside from playing it with 99 other people of course.
Definitely has that one more go quality that few other games have.

    #24 Steamworld Dig 2 8/10

Had good memories of playing the first one back when it was on PSplus and I picked this up on sale for the switch. Yeah its a nice relaxing 2d paltform/dig em up. I liked how it tied into events in the first game and seems to set up Steam World Heist but the story isn't what I got the game for. Great levels, challenging but never unfair. The last boss was really tricky but after digging a little deeper I was able to get by it.

Bloody love me some Phoenix Wright. Gonna save the third one for later this year though as so many others in the backlog I must get through. Trails of Cold Steel II and The House in Fata Morgana both out in the coming week and a bit too which are priorities, bah!

Still plugging away at Yakuza 2 and Devil May Cry V, glad I borrowed the latter as I really can't be arsed with it but must finish.

    11: Borderlands TPS (360) 7/10. Beat 02/06/19

Completed yesterday. Overall I enjoyed but it did frustrate me a fair amount. I thought the humour was up to the previous standard and loved the Aussie accents. I did not enjoy the traversal that much at all, I also thought the maps could be very confusing a lot of the time.

Onward and upward, still playing Recore via Gamepass. Not sure I will continue, not loving it.

    #21 Kids
Daft little mobile experience that has you guide these cute little morph characters into... holes... and... I mean, it's just an odd 30 minute experience best entered into with little context. 7/10

    #22 Outer Worlds
This is a blast, I recommend it to everyone who can grab this off Game Pass or otherwise. Fun little space exploration adventure game, with a fantastic "clockwork solar system vibe" which has you racing through as time ticks on before you run out of time and start again, ala Majora's Mask. Closest a gaming experience has come to the more esoteric science fiction themed oddness of films like 2001 and Interstellar. 10/10 - [100%]

    1. God of War (PS4) (2/1/19) (9/10)
    2: Dead Rising 3 (PC) (3/2/19) (8/10)
    2.1 Dead Rising 3 Untold Stories 1 (3/2/19) (7.5/10)
    2.2 Dead Rising 3 Untold Stories 2 (17/2/19) (7/10)
    3.1 Overcooked 2 CNY DLC (5/2/19) (8/10)
    4.1 Walking Dead Final Season Ep 3 (PS4) (6/2/19) (8/10)
    4.2 Episode 4 (28/3/19) (8/10)
    Overall season - 8/10
    5. Anthem (PC) (3/3/19) (8/10)
    6. Gears of War 4 (PC) (13/3/19) (8.5/10)
    7. Crackdown 3 (PC) (24/3/19) (8.5/10)
    8. Halo Wars 2 (PC) (8/4/19) (7.5/10)
    9. Battlefield One (PS4) (18/4/19) (8/10)
    10. Marvel Vs. Capcom: Infinite (PC) (4/6/19) (7/10)
    11. What Remains of Edith Finch (PC) (5/6/19) (8/10)

Finally got back into games after a bit of an unplanned can't be bothered break ... Had a proper start on Tales of Berseria so may get that finished this time, hopefully in time for Judgement's release. And went back to my Xbox Gamepass deal on PC and decided to give MvC:I a go after being underwhelmed by the demo. Played through the full story mode (and one Firebrand/Nemesis run of Arcade to see if you got any endings (you didn't) and to try a few characters that weren't playable in Story) and despite being cheesy quite enjoyed it. Story as said was cheesy but usual crossover silliness. Gameplay wasn't too bad as fighting system was reasonably decent and the story gave you a big mix of characters to play as and against. Not sure I would pay for it for just that but I enjoyed it as a GamePass freebie. Now to get some short things finished as my numbers are terrible .. End of week 18 and only on 10 games...

Edit - Played through Edith Finch last night and last half hour this morning. Interesting, eccentric little tale told as a Walking Simulator but with a bit more interactivity and ganeplay than most. Slightly fairy tale feel works well and the different styles of different memories works too. Looks pretty for an indie game and voice acting is decent. Enjoyed the story even if I guessed at a couple of big things fairly early. Doesn't outlast its welcome at about 3 hours long. Got this free on Epic Store so played PC version over the PSPlus one. Worth a play-through if you like the sound of it.

Pretty good Metroidvania game, although annoyingly you can't go back to the main game to mop up collectibles after the ending, which is lame.

    12. Persona (PSP via Vita) (6/6/19) (8/10)

Finished off Persona 1 on Vita (turns out I had last stoped playing right before final boss which took me two attempts). Completed both the Bad and Good Sebec endings (main route, bot doing Snow Queen for now). Game was generally a bit on the easy side except for a section late on with only two characters. The game has aged horribly even with the PSP updates, particularly the battle system where positioning is key. Enjoyed the general tone and story though and interesting to look back at what became the more successful P2 Duet. Might play P2 EP (PS1) next on PSP as finished P2: IS last year or year before.

Also trucking away at Tales of Berseria. Three entries in three days is a bit better progress...

Was a fan of the series and enjoyed it for the most part, but another casualty of my tastes changing a lot I think. Found it a right slog at times and other times it clicked, but no chance I would get a sequel or anything similar now I suspect.

It's taken me ages to get through this. I'd meant to finish the Legend mode just over a week ago but life got in the way. I've never really been into the genre but being a big fan of most of the Zelda series it helped me get into it. At times it could be quite frustrating to know where I was supposed to be going because of tiny text (even docked I have a small screen to play on and it's not always easy to see what the chat or objective updates say). I'd follow a previous major objective missing a sudden NPC threat that would result in instant failure. The game wouldn't help by checkpointing about 30 seconds before said NPC getting rushed when they only have about 2% health.

Still, the campaign was pretty fun when I got into it and had levelled the characters quite a bit.

I have loads to go back to in the future, I've barely scratched the surface of the adventure mode and there's loads to unlock if I can be bothered with the harder difficulty campaign levels. I shall probably dip in and out of it here and there but I think I'll be ploughing on with PC and Xbox/PS4 stuff next.

Not much of a game, and it it's brief length means it pretty much flies through the stages of a relationship. Alright while it lasts though.

Good stuff, maybe not the "killer app" of PSVR (Astro Bot has that sewn up) but still great fun and really shows the potential of VR.

Sort of. My sound has fucked up and reverting to a previous save or verifying on Steam can't fix it. I've put about 85 hours into it. I'd previously finished the main story on the 360 some years back but hadn't done any of the guild chains other than the College of Winterhold stuff. I'd got to try some of the content that was DLC I didn't own previously and finished several guild chains this time around. I'm pissed off that I didn't get to finish all the stuff I'd planned to but I have a huge backlog and there's other stuff I want to play. I'm not entirely sure a clean install will fix the issue as my save may now be corrupt and frankly, fuck you Bethesda, I'm sick of your broken games.
