Slight buzz / hum from AV receiver - solution?

So, my Sony AV receiver has been a valuable asset for the last 5 years. I've very recently started to hear a slight hum from the receiver its self, not through the speakers mind.

It's only very slight and I can only hear it at night..but I'd like not to! The internet seems to think I have two options;

1) Ground the metal frame inside the case
2) recoat the transformer with resin

Anyone had experience with this?, I'd love to hear ideas / suggestions.

Could it be noise from your power supply? If so you could try one of these?

Shittttt. Are these legit? I've got a slight hum as well, but haven't put the effort into investigating it fully yet. Didn't realise these were a thing.

I have just discovered hum eliminators. Check Amazon - 20 quid or so. Might be worth a shot?
