Aye, CW are guilty of padding out articles in such a way.

I'm afraid I didn't see much of yesterday as the cricket had focus. Felt like the peloton took it easy after the day before - I tuned in and saw the break had 14 minutes on them. I suspect today will be much the same.

Yeah I caught up with the highlights this morning. Break fight was good though. Stages seem well designed this year so far. Rolling hills either setting up for a potential sprint finish or for the punchers. Felt like we have had a week of mini classics

And again today! One of the best first weeks of recent years.

I mean, with hindsight I suppose- yes, as it was his first TDF victory. But the way he and MvDP have been lighting up the one day race finishes then not so much. I actually think, if team orders were different hes a brilliant green jersey candidate for Visma.

    Aye: https://cyclingtips.com/2019/07/top-four-mountain-bike-jumps-in-tour-de-france-history/

Edit - I've just noticed (in the preview image of the vid above) that he's preloaded his rear brake in the air. I wonder why.

If he was braking it would, but he doesn't (brake). He's just got it preloaded.

Generally you keep your fingers the fuck away from the brakes on a jump unless you know the landing area is technical (it's easy to grab accidentally when you land).

None of the sprinters is really dominating it this year.
Let's see what the first mountains bring today.

Well that's odd. Rohan Dennis quite the Tour but his team is unsure why.

    Didn't like the wheels apparently!

Nasty crash for WvA in the TT :/ Seemed to get hooked on the barrier and then pulled off his bike.

That's a shame. He's been down for a long time now, so I think he'll be heading home. :/

Impressive ride again from De Gendt. Something for Geraint to aim for I guess.
