Gonna be fucking exciting, especially with EB taking some time back.

Tomorrow should be a smashfest, doubt Ineos will hang it out until Saturday as the gap is still decent enough

Yeah I be very surprised if Alaphillipe can hang on, but lol at him getting back on and passing through his rivals like a hot knife through butter on the descent. Great stuff

Shame i had to work today and tomorrow. Also got to go out on sat at 4pm... guess I be able to record the last few Ks though

    Knee injury apparently.

Shame to watch it, i like him and had cash on him to get on the podium. He's done for this year.

Considering Ineos 2019 is all but identical to Sky 2018, it's crazy the effect Froome must have had on the squad. Seeing him drag TGH and Sivakov back up to Quintana earlier this year was very impressive.

So who are the threats in the breakaway? The commentary hasn't been much help.

Kicking off now. I's expect JA to half kill himself on the descent and get most of that back.

Edit - I'm confused, why are these Jumbo Visma guys riding for G?

    Aww man.

Congrats Bernal, first ever Columbian champion of the TDF.

Edit - Does that count as a win for him?

Nice. How much of a gap did he get on G? Everyone can save their legs.

The race was neutralised before the riders got to the icy part, right? So the riders are all pissed but I guess it's better than crashing out of the Tour completely.

All except Bernal. That ice, water everywhere is crazy.

Listening to the post-race commentary. I get the impression most of them have no idea about the landslide. I mean, water & ice is bad enough, but it looked like there was at least 6 inches of mud blocking a substantial stretch of the road.

No Tissot timing at the top of the Iseran, so the actual timing differences aren't clear yet.

Pinot apparently torn an internal muscle near his knee. Avoided a crash yesterday, but banged his knee hard on the handlebar, and that's what did it. Gutted for him.

Alaphilippe's one of my fave riders, but it was clear he was never going to make up the time. If anything, it's probably saved him from dropping way further back, as he would most likely have lost a bucket of time on the final climb to Tignes.

Shame there were no bonus seconds granted for either the summit or the stage win. The Iseran has extra points on offer too.

What a crazy stage. This tour keeps on giving. A shame the stage wasnt taken to the final climb but at the same time its adds to the story.

A shame for Pinot, never good to see a contender pull out, especially one who has had a great tour so far.
