    I think that might be how we ended up in this situation to begin with

    Best of luck. It's the scariest and most enriching thing I've ever experienced.

    Lucky you. You can grind it up and make it in to a nourishing post brexit soup.
    Good planning.

    Blows my mind that existing humans still want to bring new humans into this doomed fuckhole planet, knowing we're on borrowed time.

    (good luck)

    Anti-Natalism is for people too selfish to change their ways for others.

    If life isn't worth living on this planet anymore, why haven't all the people saying this killed themselves? If life is worth living for you, why wouldn't it be for the children?

    (please don't kill yourself)

    Sure there is, but for most (all?) of human history people have been saying the end of the world is just around the corner.

    Yet people kept having children even, say, during the bubonic plague.

    And I'll tell you why! When the environmental apocalypse is upon us, the childless ones will be too feeble to defend themselves or scavenge for food, but I'll be just fine with my children looking after me, just the way the human race has worked for thousands of years.

    Muahahaha.

    Unless they will be too preoccupied with fighting and dying in wars for/against Emperor Trump or Putin or Xi.

    Or being too busy posting selfies on Instagram.

    @simpleexplodingmaybe

    I thought you had come to post to tell us some good news. Is it your/Missus maybe's first child or number 6! one never knows. I work with 2 chaps, one with 10...yes 10 children, youngest around 3, oldest 25 (he is 46) and the other has 6!
    Never understand this, 2 or 3 is more than enough.
