@Immaterial Will add you next time on. I had similar problem with my kids and their Fortnite friends. Haven’t sussed best way of setting up mine and kids accounts on same PS4 yet. They generally been good at nerfing the guns when community feels some OP. Peacekeeper much less effective if you’re referring to the sniping shots using choke.

Registered 15 years agoIf your only experience with the peacekeeper is how it was at launch then it's had some adjustment but it's still very powerful. Headshot multiplier went from 1.5x to 1.25x, rechamber time went from 1.1s to 1.2s, shotgun bolt effectiveness got cut by about a third.
There was a period from Novemeber to early December where it was absurdly OP because they buffed the projectile size, but that got reverted. -

G7 is massively OP at the moment- grab one as soon as possible, and slap a on a double tap. It is lethal at all ranges. Pretty sure it'll be getting debuffed on Tuesday. Peacekeeper still spanks, but you need to time your shots carefully.

Registered 4 years agoPlayed two games, got two kills each game. Just don't think these type of games are for me. Land, run around trying to find stuff then run around for 5+ minutes not seeing anyone then eventually get into a fight. With two friends on mic it's probably miles better but no one plays it anymore, had some great games on launch week when everyone was on. Too many games these days so everyone is playing different things. Back on the 360 it was so much easier to link up for games. Anyway random musings over. -

Registered 4 years agoHow is everyone finding Revenant? His ult is underwhelming but his passive is the best in the game. Hip fire is massively improved with crouch! If you break their line of site in a building while crouched, you can become a ghost! So useful. -

Registered 15 years agoI'm liking him, his crouched walk is horrifying and has a touch of General Grevious about it.
Overall responsiveness and hit detection while shooting seems massively improved.

Registered 15 years agoNot used Revenant great deal yet, Using bloodhound a lot, his ultimate increases duration it’s on for with every kill whilst it’s activated now, seems useful.
Enjoying the switch to sniper Ammo also. -

Registered 17 years agoI’ve really fallen down a rabbit hole with this the last couple of weeks, trying the daily and weekly quest items. Love the feel of the combat and slowly but surely getting used to the differences between each of the characters. Unlocked Revenant but haven’t played him yet. Looking forward to it over the weekend. -

Registered 15 years agoEnjoyed a few games using lifeline yesterday , dropping a revive drone and carrying on a fight was very useful, first time ever manage to wipe a squad with whilst they tried to take out the person being healed

Registered 14 years agoLiking the map updates, Kind of liking the new character; the armour changes seem to have made me a killing machine (or it's the OP energy weapons). Neutral on crafting, although it did come in clutch when I had to res both team mates using a portable respawn beacon.
NOT liking the debate on Reddit saying the drop in armour and TTK has deskilled the game. A 25 point reduction in armour is not the reason you lost the firefight to 'some noob'. there have always been top tier weapons in each season, which get progressively nerfed as the season progresses. -

Registered 15 years agoTTK changes are give and take. They definitely lower the skill ceiling on automatic weapons because on PC without the auto aim, target tracking is a difficult skill to master. It de-emphasises being able to track well.
On the other hand, it makes burst damage weapons more valuable, so sniper weapons are immediately better, along with stuff like the wingman and shotguns. There'll definitely be a sizeable meta shift as a result.
Not that it matters that much anyway because the matchmaking is fucking awful. -

This is still my main game 3-4 nights a week and despite what must be 800 odd hours put into it still playing randoms.
My standard is split to 35/50/15 of shit, OK and above average. Not sure of the finer details of Clubs system presuming it's cross platform thought be good to put together an EG one if anyone still playing it. -
