That's exactly why I use it. To make people question the validity of dividing others based on their looks. If I say people of color then we're all "Yeah, those"

I use "brown eyes" and I get constant flak from people that all of a sudden't don't feel so good anymore.

Uh, I think you're misrepresenting me quite severely there.

Using “brown eyes” for that reason makes you come across as a bit stupid, mate

Why stop there anyway? Why not use “white palms”, or “broad nose”, or “natural rhythm”

It doesn't make any sense. You might just as well use 'has big nipples'.

Yes. That is my point. And you've groked it without even realising.

We’re not giving you flak because “we don’t feel so good any more”, we’re giving you flak because it’s one of the dumbest things anyone’s done this century

I might be stretching here, but is it to do with this:

    Jane Elliott

I remember doing at school, where we watched the video of the experiment and then the teacher divided the class by eye colour, etc.

It's outrageous. Who the fuck spends £680 on a jumper!

People who haven't got a Primarni on their high street.
People who exclusively do their food shopping at Waitrose and won't be seen dead buying Tu from Sainsburys.
    Idiots.

Interesting article about how anti-trans feminism is quite a British institution:

Posted the Twitter link because some of the comments underneath are quite, er, enlightening in their vitriol

If I had 700 quid to spunk away on a jumper, I'd use my remaining wealth to have my blood replaced with technogel, then I'd join a cis heterosexual pride rally.

I get that it's a lot of money, but the idea if you're into that sort of thing is to have one or two signature items. Nobody has a whole collection of £700 jumpers.

Don't think it's a lot to pay for a minstrel jumper to be honest.
  • Deleted user 7 February 2019 17:34:37
I'll pay that for a jumper no problem. I won't spend over £9.99 on a pair of slacks though.

I work in menswear, and I know many many people who wouldn’t think twice about dropping 700 on the right jumper. I mean, a pair of bespoke trousers will set you back a grand. Not that Gucci thing though, that’s just an abortion

I dunno. It would pair quite nicely with a Prada sambo keyring to complete the high end Italian facist look.

I'm a bit behind the curve with this, but I'm not sure this is all that bad. He's said it was wrong and he's not advocating it. It was the wrong thing to do, but it was driven by an irrational anger in reaction to a traumatic event, which he's since shameful about.

Are we supposed to never have a wrong thought, ever? And if we do are we supposed to just pretend it never happened?

There is definitely room for these high fashion labels to employ a "regular bloke" on the production process.

Another week, another acronym to learn.

So TERFs. Feminists who reject women who were born men. Probably a pretty good indicator for which feminists are sane and which ones secretly define themselves by hating anything that closely resembles a man

To be fair that's a label thrown at females if they enter any kind if debate regarding Transgender subjects.

    No one identifies as TERF.

These things aren’t really high end fashion though, there’s not much money to be made from the good stuff. These companies survive by knocking out absolute shit, putting their label inside and I whopping great price tag - they don’t sell particularly well at full price but when they go to the discounters someone will throw 200 quid at it thinking they’ve made a saving, not realising it only cost a tenner to make.

Or that it’s absolute fucking junk
