Played the first mission and some odds and sods, I like it BUT my God it really is The Division 1.1 I'm amazed how almost identical to the first game it is. Not necessarily a bad thing but worth noting.

What littl I've managed to play reminded me a lot of TD1, except greener.

Can't say much more, because I haven't managed to play a whole lot. The game keeps crashing, usually when I try to change some graphics settings. Other times I just got kicked out of the server.

As for performance: the game seems to hold 60fps well, as long as I keep to medium settings. High settings make the framerate drop whenever there is smoke on the screen.

Kinda impressive how many betas nowadays have problems. I don't remember quite as many issues for the old betas like Destiny, Division 1, Titanfall...

I did get kicked out near the end of the first main mission after like 10 mins, had a mild strop, haven’t been back yet. Still far more polished than anthem was, which is also a bit fresher but still in need of serious work.

And yet I’ve preordered both for fear of missing out on the next big thing.

I only have myself to blame.

I can't get through how flat and lifeless everything looks and sounds and I've got it all on ultra. Shotguns sound like someone spanking a coke can.

Same old Division underneath which is good but it's really putting me off my looting stroke.

Some areas seem to look a lot better than others. The disconnects and sound bug are annoying though.
