    So what is the PC mini-clan called?

    I'm not normally into that sort of thing but would be nice to do some tougher stuff. And in game.

    You'd all be welcome in the Rock Paper Shotgun PC clan thing, which is called Rock Paper Shot, if you fancy a slightly more active club.

    It finally let me capture metro ruins, thank god. Another few control points down since then.

    Can I ask, apart from the XP and projects boost, is there any other reason to restock control points? Do they come under attack if their supplies run low for example?

    @wuntyphyve

    I've been wondering this. I'm not sure how attentive I should be to them whining about being thirsty.

    They get taken regardless afaik and you want them to be. Loads of blueprints from taking them back at level 3.

    Dont bother with level 4 as it's not worth the pain.

    It's worth restocking when you are farming the area though so the loot boxes light up.

    Totally lost interest in this since returning after playing Sekiro. I loved it beforehand but now it's meh. FFS.

    @AddyJB The spark started to return to me this morning to be honest but now I know that rodderz beat the fucking Demon of Hatred in Sekiro, I know I'm going to have to go back and twat it. But yeah, was loving this this morning. Took a control point in abysmal weather conditions, dark, foggy, rainy. It was chaos but brilliant.

    I've decided the healing hive and turret are a good combo. Any other recommendations for good skills?

    @Frogofdoom Do they only get taken back at the end game or is it random?

    What do you mean by the last bit btw, as there's a fair bit still going over my head!!!

    @wuntyphyve

    Chem launcher for essentially unlimited heals with a super low cooldown of 20 secs between clips.

    Yep double tap the use skill button, much quicker than the hive or armor kits. Actually I don't think I've used one since I started using it. With mods I have 5 shots before cool down.

    @wuntyphyve there is an unlock with shed tech that makes loot crates light up for 20 minutes when you restock a supply point. It's really useful to do before you run through the sewers for loot boxes and keys as it makes them glow through walls.

    Re skills: for levelling the healing chem launcher and revive hive are the best skills I think. Fast and unlimited (almost) healing and a self revive should you die.

    Currently running a 3 7 7 build which is brilliant. Unstoppable force on chest, compensate on gloves, patience on knees and on the ropes on backpack. There is a stupid amount of burst damage with chatterbox for the passive and over 250k armour so it's pretty tanky and you dont get one shot like a crit build. The hard bit is getting the 3 7 7 as restricting your reds down to 3 can be tricky.

    I was wondering what those build numbers meant and feel more confused now that you've somewhat explained them. Bottom line...you lost me :D

    3 red, 7 blue 7 yellow on gear items.

    It allows the talents above to be activated. Some of them have maximum or minimum requirements and it's quite tricky to balance the armour pieces to get it.

    The spas is ok on lower difficulties, on challenging and heroic it isnt. Oh and the double barrelled too.

    L18 and I've got one that does about 7.3k damage. Still have to two-shot dudes from about 3 metres away.

    I really want to play with a shotty but rifle + assault rifle or SMG is clearly the way to play.

    Shotguns are just terrible at the moment, similar damage to marksman rifles at best but only at melee ranges where the npc's will 1 hit down you at higher difficulties.

    I think you'd have to double the damage of shotguns to make them worthwhile.

    Yeah shotguns are useless I reckon. Tried a few and see no reason to keep using them. Iím rocking a LMG and rifle combo just now thatís working a treat. Really high stability on the LMG as well, it just rips through things.

    The shotguns are ok if you unload right into the chest so it's not the damage. It's the spread and damage fall off which is the biggest issue I think. The problem is if you tweak it too much you end up with a division 1 shotgun situation. Glad I don't have to balance this stuff :D

    Oh god the 1st Division had a terrible time with shotguns especially those cunts used shotguns a full auto rifle using that mod for their controllers.

    They are shit. I got this fancy 20 round spas gold thing with great stats but in practice it is utterly useless. I still use one every few missions to mix it up as I get bored with the op combo (sniper and lmg). They so shit it is generally better to use your pistol at close range. On the first stronghold I used this 5 round pump action thing, it had insane damage stat but in actual use it was like a bubble gun.

    Yeah the cronusmax is a shitty device, removes all the recoil from guns as well.
