Just got a shotgun that is just useable! That's an improvement. Just unlocked the final stronghold. It's been fun.

Lol, I *almost* told a friend about how I'm now 437 light in this game.

Destiny... What did you do to my brain!

I've decided while it's a different game in many ways, division 2 is miles ahead of destiny in every way possible when it comes to loot, content and end game stuff .

Hopefully we get survival back but with random loot spawns.

If they create a Firefly perk I'll agree with this 100%

Still nowhere near end game yet and I feel like I've been playing it for a looong time. Got back into it now though.

    @JamboWayOh

Yes. It's something I've realised I like doing. Bit like wanking really.

Can't complain with that. It's an extremely healthy relationship with your best friend and sometimes your acquaintance, when you want something a bit different.

Division is like the classy older cousin of Destiny.

Technically she share a lot of DNA, but one smokes roll-ups, and the other one is smoking hot.

I still cannot get into this really, I keep trying but the boredom/frustration kicks in, it feels like old skool ubi for me, a map littered with shit yet little of it appeals. The worst issue of all is the die,Respawn at base, run half of the map,die repeat cycle. I can only imagine this frustration will get worse the harder it gets.

Keep thinking get to ďend gameĒ maybe it will click but im just not having much fun getting there. Then when a friend joins (whoís massively further than me) it fucks up my reading of the map progression as it just raises the level of every event to 29 so I donít know where to go to play through things linearly.
Wish I hadnít bought it as Iím not having the experience of others in here, didnít enjoy the end game of 1 and I shouldnít have come back, plus going gold (if you play a looter shooter you have to be all in) was a fucking joke, looks like they are taking the piss out of all of us so far.

Grrr, sorry rant over but I canít believe Iím so far away from the rest in here.

@ChiefGB for the respawn issue take control points as they can be used to spawn.

I believe it upscales you and the game to the higher level player and it sets the map to your progress.

I can see your boredom but Iím enjoying it. Weíre trying out best to look like camp men from the village people.

I'm not sure if anyone is looking for a PS4 clan, but we have about a dozen and are all fairly active at different points each day/week, so there is usually someone to play with.

Happy to send invites if you want in.

I'm still loving it, but I can barely do the daily missions, and that is about it, cause I just don't have enough time to really achieve more than These 3 missions, since in challenge difficulty they can take a good while, and if one of the dailys is a stronghold on challenge difficulty, then it can take almost 1 hour

Should I be doing the sides at the end or as I play through the levels? I'm struggling to be at the right level for the main missions just doing the other bits and bats.

@Addy__ you want to keep as many sides as poss until you're around level 20. As they give you roughly a third of a levels worth of XP and that scales. I kept most of mine for the last 5/6 levels and got through it pretty quickly.

Also, it's worth noting that the third of a level they give do not carry over to the new level, so again, once you're at 2/3rds full, don't do a side mission or you'll waste XP.

I found running the main missions, filled in with control points got me to the right level. Also, try not to fast travel too much as you'll get alright XP from the roaming enemies too.

@Big-Swiss it depends on what you're looking to get out of it. If it's gear or even specialisation points there are better ways to go than the daily missions. If you're on PS4 we usually have some on in the day and then others in the evening all happy to help out where they can!

Yeah good call on the fast travel. I'm probably wasting a lot of XP on fast travel.

@Addy__ XP and gear, there is so much loot hidden all over the place. Most of it is trash but good for recalibrating or selling for credits.

    What platform are you on?

@Big-Swiss it depends what you're after, if it's spec points then generally bounties are the way to go and work up the tree. If you're after gear then bounties or control points aren't too bad.

control Points are getting on my nervs, I got one control Point to lvl 4, and it took us over 1 hour and a few attempts to capture it.
Acctually the control Point lvl fell back down to 3 when we finally made it. 5 minutes later the control Point was red again.....

Level 4 CPs are pretty much pointless anyway. You get the best rewards to effort ratio from Level 3s.

My current daily run is start at the White House, kill the playing card bounty just to the south, fast travel to all the CPs in friendly control and loot the rewards, run the sewers outside the safe room west of the Washington monument (7 keys, bunch of loot, and lots of materials, takes a couple of mins to run), run one of the north sewers routes (4 keys and a bunch of loot and materials), then go back to the White House, sort out loot, kill another playing card bounty to the south. 35 mins or so and a ridiculous amount of stuff obtained.

I had this armour self generating thing. You stay in cover for 3 seconds and it regenerates. Beautiful thing.

... Why did I get rid of it :(

Tbh, I'm not really bothered about a looter shooter not having a story or anything, it's online, if you play with randoms people get fidgety and just wanna shoot shit. It's not as if it was billed as an rpg. It does what it does and does it well. Its already a dodgy premise with its not out loud politics.

Yesterday's patch seems to have broken more things than its fixed.

Hive revive still doesn't work half the time. invaded mission progress doesn't get recorded property and I've seen more glitching/disappearing enemies.

I also started getting duplicate control point mission objective markers.

    Sigh.
