I can't support the Lib Dem outlook here. Revoking without having a public vote would be disastrous.

That said, it's irrelevant as they aren't ever getting in a position where they could implement that anyway... so it's all politics for show as usual.
That's only their position if they got a majority, so would be a fair reflection of 'the will of the people.' As you say though, they're not going to be in that position, in which case they support a public vote.

At least no one can claim they don't know what the Lib Dems stand for.

Video thumbnail pic makes Boris look like he's been drinking again... which likely means he's been drinking again.

@Mr_Sleep already been a denial of those comments by senior number 10 person. They are hardly reliable though.

@ControlledChaos3 I'm thinking you are confusing corrupted posts with being banned.

@Frogofdoom thanks. It does seem a bit based on nothing much.

Reliable sources deep in Westminster have told me that the moon is made of shouty brexit phlegm cheese.

On the lib dem commitment to revoking art 50: they explicitly say that this is their policy if they get voted the majority.

If that happens with that as their policy I would say they have judged it right.

It is more likely they are a minority partner in some form, which means they would obviously support another vote.

@Gaol - Problem is that the tories "let's get this over with" approach is total bollocks. No deal is the complete opposite of getting it over with and will drag it out for even longer as we have to renegotiate everything from scratch. And we will have an even weaker hand than the shite one we currently hold.

And yet I know that the idiots will, and are, lapping it up. Listened to one such moron in the kitchen at work this lunchtime.
I wouldn't worry about it... it's looking like the Tory's current approach is to cut Ireland adrift completely. The solution that May said "No British PM could ever agree to".

Will the gammons like it? I suspect as usual they'll like what they're told they should like.
Except for her of course, initially. And Arlene too, as that girl is not stupid and saw the huge benefits for NI of having a foot in both camps. The lads behind the screen who make the decisions for the DUP wouldn't countenance it though and the DUP are going to feel the effects I'd say.

Not sure the country will be able put this behind us if we leave or remain. If we leave, its probably going to fuck the economy worse it is now especially if its no deal. Gammon cunts will blame everyone else. Remainers will hate the gammons. The thing is I can't see one positive side of brexit and never seen an actually well written reply, its always "remoaner this" "MaKe OwN DeAls!" "Soverunty" Really brexit is for the very rich to dodge the EU tax laws that happen end of this year

If we remain, gammons will hate the remainers and never shut about it but at least the self inflicted damage will get limited,

@ControlledChaos3 Not all parties of the left are subsidiaries of the Labour Party. Labour Party policy is not the be all and end all of left wing thought.

Common knowledge for some and effectively the same info as posted earlier in the thread.

Reading up on the new EU corporate tax avoidance law, which aims to stop the loopholes such as companies using distant or remote territories to avoid paying tax.

Official figures point to around £35 billion lost via the tax gap, but these figures don't actually include tax avoidance via legal loopholes, so estimates suggest that figure is much higher.

Realising the timing, I now have nothing but hatred for the tories.

The tax law was discussed and put into place, from the back end of 2015, with it becoming official July 2016.

I was curious as to why this October date was set in stone as to leaving the EU do or die, until I read that the new tax law becomes a legal requirement across the EU January 2020.

Potentially ruining the country to benefit themselves and the big corporations under the guise of patriotism.

Seems to much of a coincidence when the UK is the world's biggest enabler of corporate tax avoidance.

Corruption at best, but it's surely treason what they're doing if proven. Lost for words really and completely disgusted with the lot of them.
