I am not sure how I feel about dredging up comments on social media to condemn someone. I am fairly sure every person with a low UID on here can be acussed of homophobia, sexism, racism, et al. I may have been reading Jon Ronson's So You've Been Publically Shamed.

How old are the comments from that link? One of them is a year ago and is a meme and the implication of that is toxic for sure, playing into a load of conspiracism. I hadn't actually heard that the Jews did a 9/11, what a fucking stupid opinion that is. That is pretty damming too.

Just to be clear, I have no dog in this fight, I just find the zombie comments being recycled to then judge the character of someone a little uncomfortable. I dread to think of some of the things I have posted on here when I was young. I was considering deleting my account and re-registering the other day for this reason.
    I reckon you're save Jesus. ;-)

Even Jesus isn't safe these days. It is only a matter of time until someone dredges up his past to blink him out of social discourse.

I don't think there is a specific "The Jews did 911" conspiracy. It's more an overarching "The Jews did EVERYTHING" conspiracy. More specifically the Rothschild family and how they control everything that happens in the world. And they may or may not be multidimensional shape shifting lizards depending on who you talk to.

I did have a friend of mine say that the Rothschild's invented modern education to control the masses to serve some kind of unclear end.

I've had a mailshot from Nigel Farage asking me for my opinions on Brexit.

Now normally I'd just bin it, but, it's got a Freepost address on it... :D

    Emergent turtle's head an option?

Messy on the scanner I know, but it'd clean off I'm sure.

Antisemitic hate crimes double since last year (when they had doubled since the year before). Almost four times more incidents than the next most affected religious group.

Not necessarily a politics related post, but I think important in the general context of other conversations and a general perception that there isnít a trend to be concerned about.

It's a depressing state of affairs. How have we regressed so far, so quickly?

    How is the graph interpreted?

I read a Guardian article yesterday on the same topic but had Muslims as top of the leader-board for hate crimes.

People were told that their opinions mattered and then they were given a virtually blank ballot paper and the ability to vote for their views

Itís calculated per 100k population, which is apparently the standard way of doing these stats. I wonít pretend to understand the exact detail of it.

These polls are obviously meaningless except when they mean something right? That's what certain people keep telling me.

In fairness, polls like that are much more useful when they're looking at individual seats.

Quite surprised personally. I mean I can see the reasons it's gone that way, but I just didn't expect it to be that dramatic.

    Still just a poll, mind.

Assume it is per 100k of the specific population? So there were more hate crimes directed at muslims, but there are also more muslims.

I've learned from Twitter that every polling organisation that doesn't have Labour ahead is run by Tories.
