Cummmings is the modern day Rasputin, to our retarded self-styled Emperor Nicolas II.

Unfortunately not :-( One of my favourite British sci-fi authors is a climate change denier and quite vocal about it too.

The Javid thing is quite interesting. I think as someone else said yesterday that he was probably looking for an out in an impossible situation, and I did even wonder whether it was all calculated by Boris that heíd quit, but the reports seem to suggest itís quite a big fuck up. More of that please.

Didn't know that :( I love the whole Polity series. Does read a bit Tom Clancy in space though.

Can't wait to find out Alistair Reynolds is a flat earther :(

I like to imagine that the cabinet is currently pretty much like The Death of Stalin.

Even when youíve won, everything is a ludicrous power move.

It does seem odd, but the books are still good reads.

Nandy was by far and away the best at the JLM hustings. Sheís far more credible as a leader than I originally thought. Such a clear and powerful communicator. I really am leaning towards her over Starmer at the moment.

    This speech is world class.

Unsurprisingly, I think she's been the worst candidate.

She's making Starmer look like a lefty, and is relentlessly negative.

Nandy was impressive on Newsnight the other day but I still think Starmer is the way to go. Hopefully, if he does win she'll get one of the top jobs in the shadow cabinet.
