She can fuck off. Actually all of these cunts who say all this after stuff after the fact and contributed to the misery during their tenure, they can all get to fuck.

Surely she is one of the few people actually qualified to comment on this.

True, but she should just fuck off in principle.

Yeah, I mean I get the irritation. But her point was specifically about the NSA appointment, not appointments generally (of which I am sure she is guilty of getting her own people in).

I know, it's the growth of a spine to criticise their own party when they feel they have nothing to lose really rankles me. I suppose I just hate the tories as a rule.

You are not alone. That's why it is entertaining watching them fighting amongst themselves.

Just under 4 years imo. Next election will likely be May 2024.

Just passed the bill ending free movement.

Home Secretary Priti Patel: "Last year the British people sent a clear message that they wanted to end free movement and our landmark Immigration Bill delivers exactly that."

It's only just completed the Commons stages. Still needs to go to the Lords for more scrutiny. Doubt they will amend significantly, but may be able sneak a few important amendments in.

I can't for a second, understand how anyone with the slightest bit of intelligence can think that giving up the right to study, work, live, retire to, whatever in 27 other fucking countries is a good thing.
Anyone can say "fuck it" and go and live in the Artic circle in Sweden or learn to be a chef in Bordeaux or work in a fucking beer garden in Munich or be a beach bum in Portugal or a ski instructor in Switzerland or whatever the fuck you want in a million awesome places, It's such a fucking amazing privilege.
WTF is wrong with people that they would think that hugely limiting their freedom and possibilities is something to celebrate.

If I'm being charitable and forgiving a few of them are probably just slightly thick idiots who believe what they see on the front page of the mail/sun/other shitrag.

However, I would imagine the majority of them are xenophobic little Englanders and far too many are just deeply unpleasant racists.

No one said anything about giving up those rights, not until after the vote at least

Sure they did, mostly small bits in the Guardian and Independent but they were also mentioned on the BBC panel shows where it was allowed to become equivalent with some mid-level racist horseshit claims from UKIP.

But how could leaving the mechanism that grants those rights make for anything other than losing them?

No one campaigning for brexit did, at least. The warnings at what is now happening was labelled project fear

I'd screw mine up and throw it in the bin. Communist propaganda.

This is how it starts. By the end of the year you'll all be pulling a plough on a state farm.

Plot twist, the voucher only works at specified retailers i.e. Dyson, Wetherspoons, JCB...

I would strongly believe there would be conditions on where you can go and what you can buy.

The Tories somehow sleepwalking into UBI would be a hell of a cap for the year, I have to say.

I dont follow? Are you suggesting the idea/scheme is communist propaganda and you would screw it up as a protest? Or are you saying the article is propaganda, I which case how can you screw it up?

(I first came across the idea via a daily mail headline, I then searched for another source to read more about it.)

It was humourous response. Anyway, this isn’t going to happen, while we’re a arguing about the £50bn cost of HS2, chucking £30bn at people for “free”
