He surely canít actually use that fund. Millionaire socialist using the hard earned funds of his significantly poorer supporters to pay for his defamation suit against oppressed minority workers that were bullied out the party on his watch. Just no.

I was assumed it was unsolicited but Matt Zarb-Cuntface seems to be actively campaigning for it.

I don't think it meets the GoFundMe terms and conditions anyway.

It would be terrible if it were just me who got in contact with them to ask that question

Itís like theyíve specifically designed a tax to target their own voters. And do they not remember Mayís Death Tax nightmare?

    https://www.theguardian.com/society/2020/jul/26/uk-ministers-looking-at-plans-to-raise-taxes-for-over-40s-to-pay-for-social-care

How about just getting big businesses and wealthy individuals to pay the existing taxes that they are due under existing tax laws?

    Or a wealth tax?

Or not spunking billions on pointless contracts to enrich their friends businesses

    Fucking Tories.

Maybe if they stopped "spaffing cash up the wall" by giving it to their chums using dodgy contracts then we'd have enough for proper social care in this country.

Just allow people to be euthanised when they end up in a state where they need a care home. I would happily sign the forms now while I am of a (relatively) sane state of mind so I don't get put through the indignity of being unable to care for myself. Same as if I am terminally ill, don't leave it until I need constant pain relief and let me go before it happens. I have no idea why we are obsessed with dragging people out for as long as possible when there is a chance to due while there is still some dignity remaining. Prettt sure I'm not the only one that feels that way as well as others I talk to tend to agree. Its a waste of huge amounts of money that could be better used in other areas of society.

Having had to nurse my mother through that exact loss of dignity and pain as she was artificially kept alive against everybody's wishes, I heartily agree.

Being able to press the final 'quit' button (and set terms where it can be done in absence of being able to yourself) should be an inalienable right without stigma nor further penalty

To me control over your own continuing existence seems like the most basic human right going.

I wouldn't mind paying a bit more if I actually felt like everyone (including corporations) in society was making a fair contribution.

Tax the rich, for fucks sake.

I'd much rather be euthanized than placed in a care home. Ideally I'd retire and be able to spend my days lazing around in relative health, but I'm never going to be able to retire or own a house.

I'm also fine with paying more tax, obviously the age thing seems absurd.

The idea that someone slogging away on 20k is going to pay more tax while Tarquin Snr has 10 million stashed in the Caymans that will go untouched is lunacy.

I would say itís what the people want/voted for but this wasnít anywhere near their manifesto* this time

    * obviously I know manifestos have never been binding and arenít even that old but Steven and Karen Public largely donít

    Except it won't.

It'll be rolled in to NI. So those above SPA, those that retired early and those that can pay themselves via dividends will be untouched by this.

Normal people in a normal job with a normal income? Fuck those guys.

I would also hazard a guess that if you took the numbers from the last election, Labour trended white middle class and the low income strata who used to form their base now vote for christmas.

Im sure they dragged the average income numbers for tory voters right down but it gave them a fairly solid base to fuck the lower middle class.

It's specifically so people who are classified as "rich"don't have to sell their homes to cover the costs (because they are too rich to get help from the local councils) everyone pays instead. That's about as Tory a thing as there can be.

There's no limit to how many times you use it

You can use the discounts as many times as you like, as long as it's on orders made on Monday through to Wednesday in August.

That means you could get half price breakfast, lunch and dinner three days a week if you wanted to.

In slight mitigation, you now have to get out of your can and walk into store to pretend you are eating in rather than going through the drive-thru, so that gives you a bit of a workout

    Half price Five Guys? Sweet.

Assume it applies to most burger places like Honest, GBK etc.

I was honestly close to considering 50% off Nandos but 1) if there is a hotspot location it would be there, 2) its only mon - wed and 3) 50% off nandos is still probably too pricey.
