Do we also need to look at a correlation between peoples/families work/life balance change in the last 30 years?

Having both parents work full time jobs or in the case of single parent families, having one person work full time (or part time with full time parenting responsibilities), cooking proper meals has probably taken quite a large hit.

The answer is simple, we need to find a better work/life balance for all people, or women need to get back in the kitchen.

    Simples.

    Why report it, at all

Hang on, I thought these were the pro free speech lot? Boycotting their channel because a presenter took the knee. Cancel culture snowflakes.

I’m still slightly bummed out that Neil Oliver works there.

But it looks like they’re learning the same lesson Fox did about whipping up a culture war and then getting on the wrong side of that anger

It’s one of those times when you have to agree with IDS

I don't know the ins and outs of that, but IDS is very sinophobic. Almost doesn't matter what the reality of the problem is. But even a stopped clock is right etc.

Well now I want some of these!!!

When companies like ARM and Wafer Fab are sold, I think by law the government should have to buy 10%, that was at least when theses companies double in price we still stand to benefit.

If by ‘precautions’ you mean ‘turning the app off’, then yes.

On masks, the press have been very clear. Mask wearing is a vital protection against the threat of Covid and so the responsible thing to do and anyone who doesn't is clearly very selfish. But masks are also an affront to the very basis of our free freedoms and only worn by lily-livered unBritish traitors. So hit the shops, have a big fight the papers can sell adverts with, and DON'T BLAME BORIS IMAGINE IF LABOUR WERE IN POWER

It's from 2010 when Labour was in power, but by then they were trying to prove they were tough on immigration. Basically, to meet certain targets, civil servants are asked to reject applications for the thinnest of reasons.

A bit like the 'assessors' at the DWP, rejecting applications for nonsense reasons, only then for them to be overturned on appeal.

From my experience a lot of these decisions across civil servant departments are done through autofill documents where you just insert some key words. This one is highly specific but from the shit I saw I wouldn't discount anything when it comes to a decision maker having to reach a target of X decisions a day and just blanket refusing appeals.

Most are C&P from standing documents but this sounds like someone drafting something off their own back without understanding anything at all, and subsequent QA failing to spot it. If there was QA at all - seem to remember back in 2010/11 we were so short-staffed, anything could have got through as the usual checks and balances weren't there.

Yeah an Accuracy Checker should flag this up but it depends on how many checks that person had done on them, not every decision will be checked.

    https://www.theguardian.com/australia-news/2021/jul/19/katie-hopkins-deported-australia-visa-cancelled-video-big-brother-vip-channel-7-seven-network

If only we had done the same to Murdoch. Hopkins isn't even a racist gnat bite compared to his disgusting foulness.

    https://www.theguardian.com/news/2021/jul/19/spyware-leak-suggests-lawyers-and-activists-at-risk-across-globe

And a major fuckup from the Guardian. They haven't realised you can garotte a journalist, chop him into lumps and dissolve him in acid, literally, and still be a valued trading partner and welcome for tea and biscuits at Number 10, so who gives a flying fuck about a bit of surveillance.

Its weird. I know car sprayer and teacher are on their skills shortage lists but I thought Australia had plenty of embittered racists without having to import them from abroad.

It's just economics - when domestic demand for embittered racists is higher than the available supply, then any sensible government will look abroad for foreign embittered racists to come and help carry out all the racism required.

I think, to be fair, this does back up my theory is that she is an opportunistic moron rather than an actual fascist.

She got a gig on big brother but, as usual, she couldnt help herself just overreaching on the grift. She couldnt just sit in a hotel, she used it as an opportunity to shore up her other work talking bullshit for a living.

She’s enough of a racist/fascist that believes it enough to be happy to push that message but she is an opportunist just like Farage is.

I think she is largely a morally bankrupt opportunist who would be espousing communism if the far-left paid well enough.

Not that it matters either way, the results the same.
