Started as a protest against fuel prices, didn't it? So... anti-environmentalist, I guess? Got a lot of traction (fuel price things always do), so had people on the far left and far right try to co-opt it.

I suspect a number of the UK ones are just football hooligans finding another excuse for thuggery. It seems that there's always a significant element of these street movements (EDL, Britain First etc) that consists of knuckle-draggers with an overactive violence chromosome who just want an excuse to get pissed up and punch people from a different football club/race/anything that isn't part of their pathetic, tiny, myopic world.

Fuck them, they are sub-human scum and they know it. Feed them to the fucking pigs.

Yep, think there is a lot of truth to that.

I see Andrew Neil has announced he's stepping down. Following John Humphrys a couple of weeks ago, could this be the beginning of a return to fact based public service broadcasting for the BBC?

Not while upper management takes orders from Nr10. Expect more right-wingers being put into place.

They also love Peppa Pig, it doesn't mean she'll make a good PM.

I think the only thing we know for certain is that even though she's a pig she's less gammon than Corbyn.

If "there's no anti-semetism in the party. The Jews really are out to get us" gets a pass then, yeah, it kind of feels like they are deliberately trying not to get elected.

You can hardly punish people for holding views you engendered in the first place.

Problem now is that it’s spiralling well beyond the ‘light’ racism of suspicion and subtle implication, into the normalisation of proper Protocols of Zion stuff. Which happily can also be conveniently blamed on a Jewish conspiracy, which brings it all nicely full circle.

Whatever happens now Jews are blamed. The worse the crisis gets the more it can be blamed on their manipulation and underlying power and influence.
