Birthday soon and my generous wife is happy to buy me any Xbox controller I want, regardless of price. I've done a ton of research and have settled on the Xbox Elite controller (my top choice was SCUF Infinity but they have ceased production for now due to shortage of components). I am aware of some durability issues with the Elite, which have been ironed out by the "gen 3" manufactured version. I also hear that the new white one is a gen 1 build. So, my question, can anyone tell me how I can check the 'gen' of an Xbox Elite controller before I jump in? Many thanks. |
How can I tell the "gen" of an Xbox Elite controller~?

My release day controller is still going strong.
I believe from the xbox thread that anybody that has had issues with their elite controller that MS has been good at sorting them.
