I suppose me working at Jarvis when the 2002 Potter's Bar crash happened is also a case of working with criminals. Decimated the management and a lot of IT as the huge fine they got basically broke the company.

I went to school with a guy that became a policeman and was then subsequently done for possessing kiddie porn. Got 4 years for it.

I knew a mailman who dumped his daily work in a skip then went home to play games.

Did they have to build a separate prison wing for him? Looks like he's got the top 2 "Getting stabbed in prison" attributes.

Ha, yeah totally what I always thought.
Before being a cop he was a quantity surveyor. And they're the real cunts in all of this.

The shit I've pulled at self service checkouts would make you seem like a saint.

@Tonka As a kid, a few of us used to nick sweets from a local shop near our school. I was only about 11 I think, its all a bit vague. One of the kids got caught and shopped everyone else. Cue all of us dreading a knock on the door from the police for a couple of weeks after that. I never got the knock, but I also never swiped any sweets again.

    /master criminal...

I stealthily drew a little circle on the new woodworking tables at school - little more than a full stop - with a type of pen that would wipe clean. I do not recall what my goal was but I'm assuming it was something of great importance.

It became a surprisingly big deal; parents were called, senior teachers were involved and IIRC, the headmaster came to tell me off as well. I repeatedly offered to clean it off (it would have taken a single wipe with a damp cloth) but was told not to.

To be clear I was an 11 year old boy in a school where kids were routinely beaten up by bullies twice their size with little to no consequences. Random kids I'd never spoken to would stop me in the corridor to ask me what I'd done and I remember genuinely being confused about whether all this was about the spot of ink I'd left on the table or if I'd actually shit on it in some semi-conscious state.

Let me know if any of you guys heard about it because I'm pretty sure it became international news.

I went to school with this chap:
    http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/2166408.stm

Stupid little prank (joking about holding up the drinks trolley on a train with a toy gun) at the wrong time (not long after 11/9) coupled with a lenient judge meant the farce went all the way to the appeals court.

Quite a few of my primary school class ended up in prison at one point or another (I went to a primary school in a really rough area). Mostly just for mundane, petty violence and nastiness, but one of them for a couple of really unpleasant sexual assaults when he was in his late teens. He always had been the weird, quiet one your parents told you to stay away from. Can't find a news link - this was back in the late '90s and he has a common name.

Fair enough. It's in a box somewhere and I can't really be arsed to find it, but next time I stumble across I'll upload it if you still care.

Bet now you really don't believe me :)

I've got a picture somewhere of my dad and Mad Frankie Fraser in some dodgy nightclub (Chez Nuit?) in the 60s.

Frankie obvs being a full-on nutty murderer at the time. My dad's quite proud of it.

Not at the same time as Frankie. The company we keep, hurm.
