Looks like I['m going to have to get my pirating pants on. Early reviews of the Mandalorian are looking great.

I currently sub to Disney Life because I've got young kids so currently I can only watch Bambi's mom die in 1080peasant. I wonder if they'll kill off Disney Life (probably) and if Plus will be much more expensive, if not I'll probably upgrade. If they do kill off Disney Life and it's a lot more expensive I might sub to Prime Video.

Think I'll sub to this for a while just to watch all the Marvel films.

They own so much of the shit now it's going to be difficult not to subscribe to it really.

If it actually is 4K HDR at no extra cost that surely puts pressure on Netflix to kill off their top tier package. Isn't Prime also 4K HDR as standard?

I bought a 4k TV this week and was surprised at how little stuff there was at 4k. Kinda takes the piss for the increase in price they're asking. I mean yes Dark Crystal and that Attenborough documentary are the tits in hdr but they need more titles available.

Won't happen. It's not a charge to cover 4k, it's a tax on everyones pikey relatives who are too cheap to buy their own sub.

I don't mind them keeping the top tier and adding loads of 4k films into it. It's annoying that they keep cycling films around and they're all 1080

Yes, nearly all new shows, films, have been for about a year. They look great imo.

I'm just going to imagine what happens.

The Mandalorian enters the dingy bar on Tatooine, scanning the room looking for his target. All he knows is hes a middle aged, former jedi who goes by Obi Wan... He begins to ask the barmaid about his prey when across the bar he spots him. A hooker on each arm laughing like a hyena. The Mandalorians about to make a move but he pauses. He knows he's dangerous.
    And attractive. Very attractive.

Should imagine Disney will be all up in the streamers grills. Unsurprisingly my streaming app has gone down.

Kevin Feige is coming round to my bedsit to act it out with a set of crudely constructed hand puppets.

I suspect it's been a 4K version for ages I think. Remember seeing Star Ears live a long time ago and the scenes in that were on a giant screen in 4K.

    But yes. It has.

Who had the best ones? I've always thought Jennifer Lawrence's are nice.

Will Smith's ears are fairly iconic but I'll have to go with Martin Clunes.
