I've wanted to do a rewatch of X-Files for years but worried it might be a bit crap now.

I just finished rewatching X Files on Prime. It still holds up pretty well.

    No Firefly here...

Commando is there though, so that's the price of entry right there...
As is Big trouble in Little China.

And for you "Video Game" fans both Hitman films, Prince of Persia and Max Payne...

Also I know there's a lot of fans of the Taken trilogy about

PoP was always there, wasn't it?
Sure I saw it when the serviced launched here last year. Maybe regional differences.

X-Files is still brilliant from 1-6. Then the rest is pretty hit and miss. I used this as I'd seen them all when they first aired but forgot about the mythology.

Is the ‘fox’ brand really that toxic that they had to call this ‘star’?

Does anyone know of anywhere I can watch Millenium? I was hoping it might end up on here but apparently not.

Buy the boxsets off CEX. I recently got the entire series for about £13.

Even before the Disney buyout they were downplaying that weren't they? "21st Century" was the brand for the movie stuff, for example.

Think it is a pretty niche show that is in a vast catalogue of FOX series. Wouldn't expect it to surface anytime soon.. haven't ever seen it available to buy or stream online. So yeah best bet is physical or illegally.. Same for Lone gunmen. £11 on Amazon.

Dailymotion, but the quality is awful and looks to be back to front!

    Enjoy!

I think this is about as far as I got when it was on initially so it was good to see what I missed out on back then. I didn't mind the later seasons but yeah they weren't as good as what came before.

Missing the first one when I searched on the UK app. What's the point, eh?

ITV 2 midweek movies have really been screwed by this launching with so much of their library on it

Yes. I wonder how many people would be comfortable even HAVING Disney plus if they knew Murdoch was paid in a fuckton of Disney stock, and every penny going to them is also enriching him. The Fox brand is the brand of treacherous liars, climate change denial, Trumpism, authoritarianism, malignant fascism and general repulsive wickedness.

I assume they went for the neutral name as it has content from a few different networks.

Star is a big brand in some parts of Asia and India, plus fox is still associated with Fox News around the world. Might as well build on a less tarnished brand.

Fox is still an entity in its own right, Disney don't own Fox Broadcasting which is why they have moved away from using the name

I mean it’s not like Disney doesn’t have its own history of Murdoch like figures, not least Harvey Weinstein.

For those sharing accounts, it appears the main account holder has to authorise access to over 18 content for profiles that have been added.
