Registered 17 years agoWell I think that’s what we were trying to do but through card changes and a fairly poor initial action from Disney it wasn’t possible.
I’ve had Amazon Prime for about 7 years now and don’t think about it. That’s the only other subscription service we use. -

Registered 5 years agoBetween my girlfriend and me we have Apple TV+, Hulu with Live TV, HBO Max, Netflix, Paramount, Disney+ and Prime. Netflix is free with my phone service, Apple TV is paid up for about two years due to promos with Apple products, Paramount seems to have magically become free as I’ve not paid for it in several months but it’s still ad-free according to the account settings, and I think Disney is paid up for a year due to the launch promo. -

Registered 17 years agoIs Paramount worthwhile if you have HBO? 90% I’ve seen is repeated content. -

Registered 5 years agoOnly if you want the exclusive stuff like Trek etc. Like I said it somehow worked out to be free for me, but dunno if I’d pay for it if it wasn’t. My gf might as she’s looking forward to the Challenge Allstars and the Real World reunion stuff. -

Registered 6 years agoIt's ok and certainly better than the last one. It does make the predators bumbling idiots though. -

The latest one was even worse than the AvP films, it's legit one of the worst films I've ever seen. -

Have watched 5 episodes so far, there is the odd moment you have to switch brain off and just accept what's happening (such as any modern car can be hacked and controlled as long as it has a chip in it despite majority of cars having no way to actually connect to internet) but they are few and far between and majority of things that happen could happen. Not really figured out where the story is heading yet but happy enough to stick around and see where it goes. Acting and writing are better than most shows like this, characters are believable and aren't just bumbling their way through idiotic decisions or doing everything perfectly which seems to be a trap most shows like this fall into

Registered 9 years agoIt has an X-Files/Fringe vibe, in a more modern setting, and is in a more grounded reality. The cast are quite good, but I sometimes find my mind wandering when watching it. But it feels like it has real potential to get better as it goes on. -

Watched the first series on scifi channel when first came out and thought it was ok ish. As something on in the background each week it worked l, but when tried to watch the second series when it appeared on some streaming service and just couldn't be bothered.
Enjoying runaways. Kind of a the OC version of a powered comic story.
Your summary is bang on, it is the OC with powers. -

Registered 3 years agoWhy the bloody hell is Prometheus the only Alien movie available on Disney Plus UK? The other movies don't even show up in search results. I can get to watch it using a VPN on my desktop but Disney Plus maxes out at 1080p on PC.
