I'd convinced myself it was gonna be shite based on the fanboy fawning (see also: most of the Marvel output), so went in with low expectations about the Mandalorian. I really enjoyed it!

Not what I'd have done with the show - and it seemed in an awful rush to hit a few too many easy home runs - but I enjoyed it a lot and am looking forward to seeing more!

I thought you were talking shit before when you said it was unwatchable but no, quite correct.
What a piece of shit it was. Looking forward to having it proper.

Its a good question. Finding info not relating to US D+ is really difficult. They said Princess Bride would be on this month and it still isn't available here. Would love to see it turn up but these things seem to be little secrets

I read them about 20 years ago... they were enjoyable enough.

The Simpsons is still in 16:9 from what I have seen. Hopefully, it'll change soon.

The 4:3 versions are there now, there's a toggle on the Details tab in the app.

I thought mine (Disney) was 4k already in all honesty. I'll have to check again

None of them ever reduced resolution, just bitrate. Netflix is still using 8Mbps for 4K streams in the UK, half of the 16Mbps it used to be.

Still confused by ps4 D+. Netflix in 4k through ps4 looks stunning etc but anything on D+ just looks basic resolution even though input says 4k resolution. Just looks a bit shitty. I know it's a first world problem just bugs me when Netflix looks so good.

The Mandalorian convinced me to subscribe, Artemis Fowl was enough to make me cancel. WTAF?

Brannagh mustíve been high to make something that incoherent. I only stuck it on out of general curiosity. Only finished it out of morbid curiosity. Car crash.

Iím genuinely not sure. Itís all over the place. Some hateful child acting, some awful templated feels. Action wasnít all that. I guess the flying bits would capture the imagination? Flip a coin. Itís no Harry Potter, Iíll put it that way.
